This weekend at Sebring marks the 25 year anniversary of the Corvette Racing Team, America's longest-running sports car program. Corvette Racing shares its success with Mobil 1 as its partner for the past 25 years, and together they have claimed 11 wins at Sebring since 2002. They also have 114 class wins, including the 2021 season opener at Daytona.

Corvette Racing commemorates this partnership with matching silver liveries on all of its cars competing in Sebring this season. This is the first time since 1999 that all cars have matching liveries. Each and every car from Corvette Racing has been lubricated and tested on Mobil 1.

Corvette Racing uses production Corvettes modified for racing, including massive weight reduction and significant power increases. Currently the team is racing a C8.R, which is a C8 slimmed down to 2,733 pounds, and uses an overhead camshaft version of its LT2 engine equipped with a flat-plane crankshaft. This concoction breeds 500 furious horses under the hood.

Corvette Racing returns to Circuit de la Sarthe as Toyota unveils its new hypercar for this season's 24 Hours of Le Mans. Corvette Racing took a brief hiatus from Le Mans in 2020 due to Coronavirus complications.

The 12 Hours of Sebring commences on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. ET on Saturday, March 20.
