This custom Jeep Wrangler pickup conversion has an extra set of wheels and a HEMI V8 under the hood.
We’ve seen some pretty extreme modifications in our time here at HotCars, but this one might just put everything else we’ve seen to shame. This humble Jeep started life as a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited, then thanks to the funds of former Atlanta Braves center fielder Andruw Jones it became something magical.
Thanks to Southern Offroad and Monster Customs, what we see is a 6x6 Jeep Wrangler that has been modified so there’s very little recognizing the Jeep it came from outside of the doors and roof. The extra set of wheels at the back and the addition of a pickup bed make it pretty obvious that something is going on, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Under the hood, the old Pentastar V6 has been replaced by a 6.4-L HEMI V8. The former 5-speed automatic has been replaced by a stronger 6-speed, and the axles have been upgraded to handle the additional weight and power. Brembo brakes adorn four out of 6 wheels, and there’s also custom suspension with a 4.5-inch lift kit so this Wrangler sits even higher than before.

On the exterior, the hood, grille, fenders, and bumpers are all custom jobs. The head and tail lights have been replaced with LED versions that are bright enough to light up an entire baseball field in the event of a power outage. There are also LED strips on the side mirrors, skirts, and the bed in case you want to have a rave in the woods.
For ease of entry, there’s a power-operated step system that makes it easier for people to get into the cab. There’s a Blu Ray entertainment system in the back, 14-speaker Alpine sound system, and a custom dash with a giant LCD instrument panel. All the stitching on the inside mimics a baseball glove and there’s a giant baseball design in the steering wheel.
And all this can be yours for the low price of $269,800.
