The Datsun Fairlady Z (popularly known as the Nissan Z car) was introduced to the market in 1960 as a model series sports car produced by the Japanese carmaker. It's ranked highly among other amazing Japanese inventions like the Nikon Camera, Mothra, and Katana Swords due to its exterior outlook and engine capacity; perhaps with more time, this will become even clearer.

One fascinating thing about the Datsun Fairlady Z car is that it was built with ordinary and familiar parts. The driving experience is so good, however, that it elevated users' and consumers' expectations for all sports cars.

At some point, the Nissan Z car seemed like the deciding factor for what other sports cars should look and feel like. Let's now take a closer look at the Datsun Fairlady Z.

One amazing feature that the Datsun Fairlady Z has that people enjoy is the bulletproof engine. By bulletproof engine, we mean that it can withstand all kinds of weather and conditions put to it.

The engine is strong, agile, and purposeful. It sounds like a chested British sports car and later becomes quiet as it moves in motion.

Also, the fact that every part of the car is also commonly available makes more people buy it, although it doesn’t get spoiled quickly, and the car parts are known for their longevity.

The Datsun Fairlady Z is known for its distinctive styling and outstanding performance, and though its revolutionary status is not as widely talked about like its US counterparts, it is beyond doubt a great car.

The original Camara could hit sixty in 7.7 seconds (about half a second faster than the Fairlady Z) and offered a top speed of 137 mph.
