Dodge just introduced the new "Demon possessed" 2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye, the fastest mass-produced sedan in the world, with 797-hp and more crazy specs. The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye is the top of the line sedan model by Dodge, so crazy that it deserved the three most sporty Dodge badges, SRT, Hellcat, and Redeye. And there is enough power to back the name and hype as this performance beast produces 797-hp and 707 lb-ft of torque with a top speed of 203 miles per hour!

It shares the same proven 6.2 Liter Supercharged V8 from the Challenger SRT Demon, responsible for producing 797-hp and 707lb-ft of torque with an automatic 8-speed transmission. It boasts being the fastest mass-produced sedan in the world, also achieving a quarter-mile sprint in just 10.6 seconds, for comparison, just three-tenths of a second slower than a 911 GT2 RS which starts at $294,000.

If any of the above specs weren't already impressive, the SRT Hellcat Redeye can brag of a few other ludicrous records, like being fitted with the largest factory stock supercharger, at 2.7 Liters. All that supercharged power needs to be stopped so the car features 15.7 inch Brembo rotors and six-piston front calipers.

This Charger is also more aggressive-looking than the other less powerful versions featuring a new widebody setup which adds 3.5 inches to the body width, also wider 20" lightweight carbon wheels, and Pirelli 305/35ZR20 tires which adds some much-needed extra grip. The front hood is another detail that strikes the eye and really distinguishes this version, a beefy performance air intake gives the car a much more sinister look.

According to Tim Kuniskis, Global Head of Dodge, North America, the new Charger is not only focused for the track and the drag race scene. “The magic of the Dodge Charger is that it delivers all the performance of a true American muscle car while also being able to deliver a family of four or five, day in and day out”.

Dealers will start to offer the car this fall and the cars should be delivered to customers in early 2021. Given the position of this car, above the Charger SRT Hellcat which starts at $72,000, we can assume that the new 2021 Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye will be priced somewhere around the $85,000 mark.
