The Mazda RX-7 is one of those sports cars that was a huge hit throughout the '80s and '90s. The Mazda RX-7 saw a stop in production in 2002. Yet, that doesn't mean that the ride isn't still loud and proud. One with a three-rotor is so loud and ferocious that the team at That Racing Channel on YouTube even warns headphones users because the roars from the engine are aggressive.

A Mazda RX-7 With The Most Ferocious Sound

The Mazda RX-7 first hit the market in 1978. The owner of this 1993 model, Sammy, kits it out with a three-rotor and 75 mm turbo that ends up making the sports car a rotary vocal sensation. It blasts so loudly that the exhaust shakes like you will have never seen before from an RX-7.

Its 75 mm turbo sounds impressive. Yet, the rear turbine features a 96 mm turbo, which helps this Mazda RX-7 reach around 8,500 rpm at full throttle. That might seem conservative for the huge turbo, but it sure is incredible for a 1993 model of the Mazda.

The incredible sounds and performance that Sammy has been able to achieve with his Mazda RX-7 wasn't an overnight job. In fact, it has been five years in the making. Within the first week of him driving the car home, Sammy admits he tore the car apart to start the tweaks. The final engine setup is street-ported with studs so that it can perform to its highest level without breaking. This means that for the future of the Mazda RX-7, it will be able to amp up its performance figures and be easy to maintain.

Although the car has never had a power test, Sammy assumes it will likely offer around 550 to 600 horsepower. This is insane for a Mazda RX-7, which usually offers a maximum of 255. However, Sammy's next task and dream are to amp up the horsepower and match the performance to the sound.

Overall, this 1993 Mazda RX-7 is like no other you will likely see on an everyday basis. It is rare to find such an iconic '90s sports car that can offer up to 600 horsepower, let alone offer such incredibly ferocious sounds from its three-rotor.
