While we may be embracing electric vehicles on the road, the vast majority of boats still rely on fossil fuels. This isn’t necessarily the most affordable option, but there hasn’t really been any other way of cruising on the water.

However, Pure Watercraft seeks to change that with its new electric motors. These motors are paired perfectly with a few innovative designs from the company, but can also be purchased separately to help electrify your boat.

While you may have just heard about Pure Watercraft, the truth is that the company has been around for a while. The company was started back in 2011 with the belief that boating can be both fun and sustainable at the same time.

This led to the formation of a team around the goal of making the next generation of boats more environmentally friendly. With this being said, the company aimed to create a high-performance motor that can provide you with a smooth ride at both low and high speeds.

As mentioned above, Pure Watercraft decided to create an efficient motor that can seamlessly electrify the boating experience. However, they decided to do this in a modular framework to help make the transition as seamless as possible.

This means that the company sells complete boats, but also sells the electric motor separately. In addition to this, Pure Watercraft also provides modular battery packs to help you build the exact system you’re looking for.

The electric outboard system from Pure Watercraft is designed with incredible attention to detail. This system supports fast charging, a GPS throttle, and a modular battery system. This means that you can seamlessly install the motor to your boat with ease.

Pure Watercraft build the electric outboard system to work seamlessly with any boat that used to have a 25 HP to 50 HP motor before. This means that you can electrify your boat without having to spend unnecessarily on replacing the entire boat.

All electric vehicles come with the same set of challenges. However, being stuck in the middle of the lake may be a bit more challenging than most other EVs. This is why Pure Watercraft decided to include a modular battery design and fast charging technology in its motor.

The modular battery design allows you to connect as many batteries as you need while the fast-charging system lets you quickly charge the batteries. Pure Watercraft states that the battery can charge from half to full in just 90 minutes. This means that you can quickly charge your boat while you have lunch.

Pure Watercraft specializes in making electric vehicles. This means that the motor is completely electric and silent during operation. This is a major benefit of having an electric motor that you may not have even realized you needed.

The quiet propulsion model helps make cruising a breeze as you don’t need to worry about the noise or the smell of a gasoline motor. This makes it perfect for all kinds of boats that you may want to take on the water.

5 Zero Emission Designs

The electric design of the EV motor proudly produces zero carbon emissions. This means that you can use the engine as much as you want without any guilt of polluting the environment. The electric outboard system does not require oil or gas, reducing the risk of spills.

In this way, the motor itself does not produce any toxic fumes either. This means that you can comfortably cruise without having to suffer from inhaling noxious fumes. In addition to this, you won’t need to worry about polluting the water either.

As mentioned above, the engine does not need any oil or gas to run. This means that you just have to connect it to the modular batteries to get it started. This makes setup incredibly simple but also makes it a dream to maintain.

The lack of oil means that Pure Watercraft was able to completely seal the entire motor. The sealed design allows everything to stay in place. This means that you don’t need to open it up for maintenance or weatherization every year.

Pure Watercraft does not just make motors but has also expanded to create some of its own boats. The Pontoon Boat from Pure Watercraft was designed and built-in collaboration with General Motors and is ideal for enjoying the day on the water.

The Pontoon Boat from Pure Watercraft may only require a $100 deposit, but pricing actually starts from around $45,000 for the single outboard model. The price can soar to $65,000 for the twin outboard model as well.

Pure Watercraft also co-created a few other boats to help you cruise on electric propulsion alone. The RIB Classic 360 comes with a lightweight and durable aluminum design that delivers incredible performance on the water. However, this boat is not exactly cheap at around $27,000.

There’s also another RIB Classic model in the lineup. The RIB Classic 380 GT was also co-created with Highfield Boats and comes with the all-electric outboard system. This option is a bit more on the pricey end as it starts at around $31,000.

Bass boats are some of the most popular boats in the world. These boats are small and lightweight but are designed to be quick on the water. While the bass boats from Pure Watercraft are made with the all-electric motor, they are still incredibly quick and agile,

The bass boat comes with an impressive outboard system that can produce around 25kW of electric power. The system also uses the modular battery design to let you add in more batteries if need be. The boat is still incredibly high-tech and even includes a Bluetooth-enabled throttle, making it one of the most advanced bass boats you can get your hands on today.
