There are a few popular automotive YouTuber’s out there, and one of those is Emelia Hartford. She has amassed over 650k subscribers on her YouTube channel and has been able to get exclusive looks at vehicles such as the Hummer EV from GMC. Now though, she has a bit of a dilemma. She is looking at buying her first supercar and has narrowed it down to a choice between two. Still undecided, she has posted a video detailing the two cars and what her choices are.
What Are The Choices?
It is worth noting that as an automotive Youtuber, such a purchase is a tax deduction assuming she talks about it. A pretty safe assumption. She mentions the two choices straight away. It is either going to be a Lamborghini 580-2 Huracan, or a Ferrari 458. Both are Italian thoroughbreds and two of the best cars to come from their respective manufacturers. She has not been able to find where she can test drive these cars, but luckily for her, one of her friends is going to let her drive their Lamborghini. It’s what friends are for, right?
One thing she noticed was that it was rather tricky to get into the Lamborghini as compared to the 458. Driving the Lamborghini, its 580 hp V10 engine, belches out plenty of intensity. And being a Lamborghini, it is incredibly striking to look at even when standing still. Emelia is also tempted by the 610 Huracan, but she knows it is a bit out of her price range which is where the 580 came in. The 580 though is 50k more than the 458… which is a lot.
The Ferrari 458
Next it was time to check out a Ferrari 458. The 458 packs a 4.5-liter V8 engine and 570 hp, so 10 less than a Huracan but still close to that car's V10 engine. And it is very much easier to get into! The 458 was the last naturally aspirated V8-powered Ferrari as well, perhaps a poignant note to consider when buying one. Which one would you get then? It is a tough choice.
