CAKE Kalk& is the street-legal sibling of its off-road precursor, the Kalk OR. Although both motorcycles may look similar on the outside, the Kalk& has a few developments inside. It is one of the first vehicles in the Light Electric Offroad Motorbikes category. Every single machine component is developed from an empty sheet to support the intended level of quality and durability. Its focus on off and on-trail riding provides a quiet, gliding experience. The bike is strongly influenced by downhill and enduro mountain bikes, both in feel and handling. CAKE has taken motorcycle riding to a whole new level with an electrical drive train development.

A street-legal sibling of its precursor, the Kalk OR, the Kalk& may look the same on the exterior but has significant developments when considering the internal workings. As there was no reference, every single component was made from scratch, making the bike one of the first of its kind.

The high RPM and progressive span of the electric motor leave just throttling and braking in the rider's hands. The Kalk& comes with three main rude modes. The first mode is called the explore mode, which is the ultimate mode during exploration. The excite mode has about a 2-hour ride time and a top speed of 44 mph. The final mode is the excel mode, which offers maximal speed and torque. In this mode, there are no restrictions on performance. It is perfect when one needs all the power available. It gives a riding time of one hour.

Cake offers three brake modes as well. The freewheel brake mode has no motor brakes. It gives the same feeling as riding a bike. It is perfect for mellow riding and the ultimate freedom experience. The 2-stroke motor brake with energy regeneration is a moderate engine brake. As one releases the throttle, one feels the bike slowing down at a slow pace. The 4-stroke motor brake with energy regeneration significantly slows down the motorcycle on the release of the throttle. This brake mode is best suited for technical tracks where complete control of the vehicle is needed.
