For the S 580e, when going all-electric, the top speed shall be clocked at 87 MPH with a 70-mile range on a single charge. After switching to hybrid, the car pulses through 0 to 60 MPH in 5.2 seconds with a maximum speed of 155 MPH.
The 2022 S 580e can operate without a combustion engine in many cases. The 2022 S 580e includes an automatic seatbelt feeder, which is integrated into the adjustable backrest of the seat, which ensures that it is in the optimum position. Moreover, it detects the presence of a passenger and automatically prompts them to fasten the seatbelt. During long journeys, sitting in the same posture can cause fatigue in the passenger. The calf massage feature in the S 580e stimulates the blood flow to activate movement in the legs. This function is exclusively available with the Executive seats with a long wheelbase.
