- Motorcycles, logically speaking, are much quicker than their four-wheeled counterparts, simply from the point of view of having to lug a lot less mass. And as it turns out, there's no shortage of breathtakingly quick bikes out there. Given that, we have updated this list to include a few more entries of some of the fastest motorcycles.
People can broadly be categorized into two categories: those who see motorcycles as a way to get from Point A to Point B and those who see them as a way to get from Point A to Point B blisteringly quick. For a long while now, as technology has become more advanced and manufacturing processes have become more refined, motorcycles have been getting quicker with regard to not just their top speeds but also their 0-60 mph times.

Motorcycles, logically speaking, are much quicker than their four-wheeled counterparts, simply from the point of view of having to lug a lot less mass. And as it turns out, there's no shortage of breathtakingly quick bikes out there. Given that, we have updated this list to include a few more entries of some of the fastest motorcycles.
There's an argument to be made that how quickly you can get to 60 mph from a standstill isn't as important as some other aspects, but there are a few better bragging points for the people to whom it does matter. Manufacturers like BMW, Ducati, Aprilia, and Honda, among others, are more than happy to give customers exactly what they ask for in that regard. This, then, is a list of some of the quickest motorcycles available that decimate the 0-60 mph mark in well under 3 seconds.
How we got our model selections: To compile this list, HotCars thoroughly scanned all the motorcycles available that could duck under the 3-second barrier for the 0-60 mph run. Given this article's nature, priority was given to each entry's 0-60 mph time, but other parameters have also been included to give a more rounded view of every bike. It should be noted that the bikes listed here are a mix of those currently in production and those that have long since been discontinued. Also, all the entries have been organized in order of their recorded 0-60 mph times, slowest to fastest.

10 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory
0-60 mph: 2.6 Seconds
It is an understatement to say that the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory was a long-awaited addition to the Tuono family. Sure, it was plenty capable even without the Factory version, but this just pushed the level up considerably.
The 2015 spec got the fully adjustable Ohlins rear shock, fork and steering damper, a manic quickshifter, and, of course, the bonkers V4 engine itself. As far as legendary motorcycles go, the Tuono V4 1100 Factory was right up there; the 0-60 mph dash taking a rather brief 2.6 seconds is proof enough.
