The Mercedes A45 AMG is brilliant. The engine comes with 381 bhp, and alongside the car being able to go 0-60 in 4.2 seconds, its credentials are out of this world. Being able to go supercar speeds in a hatchback is amazing, and the Mercedes achieves that. Although, we're not really surprised because the AMG division of Mercedes is amazing.

The Peugeot 205 T16 is deemed as being the original hyper-hatch and was a Group B rally car. The 16-valve turbocharged engine created a vast amount of power in the Peugeot, with 200 bhp being outputted. Also, with there being only 200 of these cars produced, they were a great car if people could get their hands on one. It could go 131 mph at top speed and could accelerate 0-60 mph in 6.6 seconds.
