Electric motorcycles are beginning to hit the streets of the world, and these bikes can be fast. Gone are the days when electric vehicles were seen as impractical and for tree-loving environmentalists. Tesla may be producing some of the best performing electric cars — or cars for that matter, this is also becoming true of motorcycles too. The fastest electric motorcycles are very fast and can compete with any traditional motorcycles out there.

While they are still in their early days, they are also in their transformative days as they move from being outsiders into the mainstream. Speed is certainly not the limiting factor of electric motorcycles. Instead, the limiting factor is more range. There are now some motorcycles with great range but for the majority, their range is workable but far from ideal. Range notwithstanding, electric motorcycles are ready to burst onto the scene. Here are the fastest electric motorcycles ranked.
