Lamborghini and Pagani, yes, please! Just hearing these car names gets us excited. Italy is a huge contributor to various great things in the world; food, fashion, art, just to mention a few. Our interest right now though is the automotive world. Some of the best supercars with insane speed and crazier price tags have emerged from Italy.
They have designed and created some of the best and most impressive cars in the industry. Lamborghini and Pagani come with unique styling that will make one stare in awe.
10 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster
In the Aventador family, the SVJ Roadster is the most iconic with the Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA) 2.0 advanced aerodynamics. Powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine producing 770 horsepower and 720 lb-ft of torque, this is a real beast.
The Aventador SVJ Roadster accelerates from 0 to 62 in only 2.9 seconds, which is very impressive. With a two-piece carbon-fiber roof panel, this here is a beautiful machine indeed.
9 Lamborghini Huracán Evo
The Lamborghini Huracán has evolved several times, and to prove it, there was an Evolution version, or Evo for short. The Evo has a 5.2-liter V10 engine rated at 631-horsepower and 443 lb-ft. of torque, this Evo is capable of accelerating from 0-60 in a mere 2.9 seconds - partly due to its advanced AWD system.
The Evo has a lightweight exhaust system that we're sure was fine-tuned to make the sweetest sounds. If that's not entertaining enough, there's also an infotainment system that features Apple CarPlay as standard.
8 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4
This Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 is an all-wheel drive, rear mid-engined supercar. Its 6.5-liter V12 engine produces 690 horsepower with a maximum of 508 lb ft of torque. Capable of moving from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds, power is transmitted to all wheels via a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
The Aventador LP 700 is fitted with state-of-the-art technology, making this sleek automobile as superfast as expected.
7 Lamborghini Sesto Elemento
The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento was a limited edition produced in 2011 and 2012. Only 20 units were made and all were sold before production even started. It was designed with carbon fiber technology, making it very light weight.
This rare Sesto Elemento has a 5.2-liter V10 engine producing 562 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. It's capable of moving from 0-60 in just 2.5 seconds, pretty impressive. Good luck beating one of these as the lights turn green.
6 Lamborghini Veneno
Only three units of the Lamborghini Veneno coupe were produced for the public. There was also a fourth used as the company's demonstration car and a fifth model (known as car number zero) used for factory testing. In addition, there were also 9 cabrio units. All the cars are powered by a 6.5-liter V-12 engine producing 740 horsepower.
This super car is made of carbon fiber, being so light and packing a serious engine, it is able to accelerate from 0 to 60 in just 2.8 seconds.
5 Pagani Zonda 760 LM
The Zonda 760 LM is a one-off super car, specifically made for a wealthy customer, based on the RS 760 model. With a 7.3-liter V12 engine producing 750 horsepower, this Zonda 760 LM has an all carbon fiber body work.
This car was a tribute to the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans race, as reflected by the headlights which have more in common with those seen on Le Mans prototypes than the regular Zonda headlights. This one-off Zonda comes with an exposed carbon fiber exterior rather than a paint job.
4 Pagani Zonda Revolucion
Pagani Zonda Revolucion comes with a Mercedes-AMG 6.0-liter V-12 engine producing 800 horsepower and 538 lb-ft of torque. With all that power, this beauty is capable of moving from 0 to 60 in about 2.6 seconds.
To help transfer all that power to the ground, it has a self-locking differential and a Bosch Motorsport traction control system. Unfortunately, only five cars were ever produced, so the chances of seeing one are slim.
3 Pagani Huayra Roadster BC
Pagani Huayra Roadster BC is fitted with a very powerful version of the Mercedes-Benz AMG-sourced 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 engine. With 790 horsepower and 774 lb-ft of torque, it's fair to say that it packs a mean punch.
This Roadster BC was unveiled in a mobile game before its release to the public. This is the first time a manufacturer has ever done that with a real designer car. Only 40 units were said to be produced.
2 Pagani Zonda F
Juan Manuel Fangio, the five-time Formula One World Championship winner, was the inspiration behind the Zonda F. Fitted with a 7.3-liter V12 engine by AMG Mercedes with 594 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque. Only 25 of these super cars were produced, showing that, clearly, Pagani is king of exclusivity in the auto world.
The exterior body work is carbon fiber, making this Zonda F very agile — which helps improve its performance. According to Horacio Pagani, "Fangio had great ‘technical sensibility’ and was a major source of inspiration for his car".
1 Pagani Zonda Cinque
The Zonda Cinque was the first Zonda to have a six speed sequential transmission. Powered by a 7.3-liter V12 AMG engine delivering 678 horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque. This Cinque is capable of sprinting from 0-60 in just 3.4 seconds.
It was meant to be the last ever Zonda, however, that wasn't the case. Cinque means five in Italian, maybe it was a way of making it known that only five of these machines would be produced? We hear you Pagani.
