1 Vector Avtech WX-8 HPV- 270 MPH

Vector Motors unveiled the Avtech WX-8 HPV at the 2007 LA motor show as a prototype. The sports car’s design drew inspiration from aerospace and jet fighters and according to Vector Motors, WX-8 HPV could go as fast as 270 MPH.

The company also claimed that WX-8 HPV can make the 0-60 MPh run in just 3.3 seconds. The prototype was tested at Bonneville Salt Flats and was powered by a supercharged 7.0-liter V8 (LS7) motor which was coupled to a manual gearbox and produced 750 BHP.
