The guys over at “That Racing Channel” have an awesome new video online right now. In what is another awesome addition to their YouTube channel, which currently has more than 1.23 million subscribers, their latest video features some rather crazy Dodge vehicles. The video follows Calvo Motorsports and the four 2000+bhp Gen V Vipers they have brought to compete. They are absolutely insane machines with twin turbos, sequential transmission, and even Motec ECU. And, even better, they go head-to-head with some amazing AWD cars.

Insane Modifications

The cars have had some insane modifications done so that they can get them to this performance level. They are far from the stock Gen V Vipers that you could go out and buy to drive for yourself. One of them alone has a crazy electronically controlled suspension with very different spring rates to what even Calvo has used in the past. It even has a massive rear wing as well, adding a ton of downforce to the rear end of the car.

One of the cars, driven by Fabrizio, was the number one qualifier at the event they were taking part in, the FL2K20 at Bradenton Motorsports Park. This one, along with the others, took on all-wheel-drive cars such as Lamborghinis – the very best of the best when it comes to AWD. The Motec ECU allows all of the cars to be finely tuned and dialed in, making them more hooked up for its drivers. You should never underestimate what a good ECU can do for a car.

A Huge Amount Of Torque

via YouTube

Alex Rodriguez, a new customer for Calvo, has around 2,000 lb-ft of torque on his white Viper, which the Motec ECU can easily cope with. And that is in second gear as well! The cars can spin upwards to 8,400 rpm, and Antonio – the presenter for Calvo – aims to get his personal Viper to hit 9,000 rpm! When you can finely tune a car, anything is possible.
