Just about everyone has stood on the outside looking in at the car of their dreams, fantasizing about getting behind the wheel someday and tooling down the highway. Well, a few weeks ago YouTube car enthusiast James William Walker, aka Mr. JWW, gave us a tour of the “Mega 5” from Ferrari during an episode on his channel. Now he’s getting the chance to grab the keys and take a spin in a trio of those prancing horses, with a 24 hour video marathon driving three of the finest from Ferrari — the F40, the Ferrari F50 and the Ferrari Enzo. While the dream day will be in an upcoming episode, a quick preview of what's to come is certainly something to get the juices flowing.
Each Ferrari Has Its Own Strength
While a quick glance at the striking red Ferrari exterior may give the appearance that the three are similar, they are actually quite different. When behind the wheel of the F40, which is the only of the three that Walker has actually driven, it is apparently evident why many consider it one of the best driver’s cars in the world, including Walker. As far as the F50 goes, the car features a straight-through exhaust system, which will leave the focus on how the car sounds while cruising down the highway. Then there is the Enzo, which having been named for the brand’s founder will clearly end up as one of the most iconically named. But it also has the distinction of being the bridge between the traditional, manual transmission Ferrari to the next generation paddle-shift, automated F1 style gearbox.
So Which Do You Drive First?
When faced with holding the keys to these three supercars, and having just 24 hours to give them a whirl, which do you pick to take to the road first? Well, that’s where Walker is looking to his subscribers for some help. And he’s not just looking for advice on the driving order, but any other types of things his viewers would like to see from the cars.
