The Italian carmaker Ferrari alluded several years ago that the first electric car in its lineup may appear after 2025. And at a recent meeting of shareholders, John Elkann, head of the brand, noted that the presentation of the new product is scheduled to take place no later than four years from now.

The issue of environmental pollution has pushed most car manufacturers to go green by developing more environmentally friendly cars. Ferrari has not developed any all-electric model yet. And only a couple of years ago the first hybrid appeared in its lineup.

Nevertheless, Ferrari is actively following the path of electrification and plans to present the first electric car to the public in 2025. Of course, today there is no information about the technical characteristics of the new electric car and even about its name.

The only thing that Elkann has officially confirmed so far is the preliminary dates of the debut. At a shareholders' meeting held on April 15, the head of the Ferrari brand also announced the imminent appearance of some three new products, but again did not specify anything, so it is difficult to say what exactly Elkann meant when he spoke about the debuts in the coming months.
