Ferrari has a strong history of creating some of the most prestigious vehicles on Earth. For over 100 years, they have been on a quest to provide us with fast, iconic, and legendary cars.

Ferrari has deep roots in racing culture; its cars were always envied by competing teams simply because of their sheer elegance, power, and sound. Some of the greatest racing cars ever belong to Ferrari. These include the Ferrari 195 S, the Ferrari Tipo 500, and the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa.

Introducing The 2022 Ferrari SF90 Stradale

The name of this vehicle effectively captures the incredible performance that's on offer. The name references

the 90th anniversary of the founding of Scuderia Ferrari. This, in turn, emphasizes the close relationship that has always existed between Ferrari's race and road vehicles.

The SF90 Stradale is a beautiful embodiment of Ferrari's most sophisticated technology that is produced in Maranello. This car is also a great illustration of how Ferrari quickly transfers design and capability to their production cars on the basis of what they've learned from their competition.

The SF90 Stradale is the first Ferrari to come with Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) architecture, which combines an internal combustion engine with three electric motors, two of which are independent and positioned on the front axle. The third is located between the engine and the transmission in the back.

What Else Do We Know So Far?

One thing that we do know is that Jay Leno loves the SF90 Stradale, and he simply cannot wait to see what the 2022 model has in store.

Though many of the specs of the 2022 Ferrari SF90 Stradale have yet to be released, we can base our expectations on previous models and the various rumors/speculation going around at the moment.

We expect the 2022 Ferrari SF90 Stradale to have the same specs as the 4WD SF90 Stradale that was introduced last year. These specs include a 780 HP 8-cylinder combustion engine combined with two front-mounted electric motors that contribute an additional 220 HP, as well as a retractable hardtop.

The new Stradale will also retain its cooling system, as seen in previous models. Cooling is required for the internal combustion engine, transmission, turbocharged air, battery pack, and electric motors, as well as the ride's inverters, charging systems, and brakes.

The engine bay on the existing Stradale is meticulously designed. Notably, it houses both typical internal combustion engine systems (used to create temperatures of almost 900°C) and extremely temperature-sensitive electrical components.

Interior And Design

We expect, of course, to see a more refined version of the Stradale in 2022. We also imagine that the 2021 models will slightly dip in price as the newer, more updated flagships are released.

In line with EU emission standards and regulations, we expect to see slight sound dampening and more exhaust OPF systems fitted to the car.

As well as regulatory updates, we hope to see subtle yet noticeable changes to the vehicle's interior. Refined user interfaces should roll out in the new 2022 SF90 Stradale.

With rumors stating that the new updated Ferrari SF90 Stradale would have around 7XX HP and a convertible roof, we definitely know it will be an extremely fast Ferrari. How fast, exactly? Well, we'll just have to wait and see.

The SF90 Stradale will offer the Maranello firm a new rival for the forthcoming McLaren Artura, which is expected to land a position below the F8 Tributo as a new entry-level supercar in the firm's lineup.

As mentioned, the McLaren Artura, which boasts similar specs to the SF90 Stradale, may just be the rival that Ferrari fears. Launching towards the end of 2021, shortly after the new SF90 Stradale, the McLaren Artura is set to be a new high-performance hybrid petrol-electric two-seater supercar. McLaren has always been known for their missile-fast supercars, with the 720S being one such example. This reputation will help them as they enter the hybrid game.

With 680 HP, the McLaren falls short of Ferraris' unofficial 7XX HP figure that fanatics have proposed. With a lighter chassis and a more aerodynamic body expected, the new McLaren does seem to be the perfect contender for the new 2022 Ferrari SF90 Stradale.
