Ferrari is teasing an all-new vehicle, but the details are pretty scarce.
According to Motor1, Ferrari is set to unveil a limited edition supercar to the market next month on Sept. 17, 2018, to be precise. This is set to be a very quiet event seeing that the event was announced to the owners of Ferraris exclusively. Although this car is still a mystery as Ferrari has not yet released any photos or specs that pertain to it. However, they have released a rather vague image that does not reveal a lot. Ferrari was generous enough to release the code name for the ride F176, but this does not mean people are not speculating about the specs and other physical attributes of the new stallion.
Well, rumors are that the special car is based on one of their successful cars the 812 Superfast and it will be called the 812 Monza. If this car will be based on that vehicle, then it is still unclear if the powertrain will be upgraded. Seeing that the 812 Superfast runs on a seven-speed dual clutch and 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine. The 812 is already powerful as it stands as it produces 788 horsepower and 530 pound-feet of torque. We can not overlook its speed which stands at a firm 211 miles per hour. This beast also gets from zero to 62mph in 2.9 seconds.
It is hard to imagine what the F176 or "812 Monza" can do if it is based on the 812 Superfast with an upgraded powertrain. With most Ferrari owners known for their love for speed, it will not come as a surprise if the F176 is already sold out already. We all hope that it will be as impressive as it assumed to be. This unveiling comes just a couple of months after the unveiling of the of the J50, which was based on the 488 spider. This was the car that was made in honor of Ferrari's 50th Anniversary.
Ferrari also plans to unveil the 488 Pista this month. So there is no need to be on the edge of your seat awaiting the F176 unveiling in September without having anything to hold on to. The 488 Pista will be unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California. Ferrari definitely has had most of us anxious about all their impending reveal this year, and the F176 is no different.
