The Fiat Centoventi Concept caused quite a ruckus when it was unveiled to the global public at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show. An electric concept waiting to be personalized by customers, Centoventi will be making its debut on North American soil at the upcoming 2020 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

A Celebration Of History

If you’re wondering how the Centoventi got its name, let it be known that this is the Italian term for the number "120." The moniker of this concept from FCA was much intentional, as it was introduced to celebrate the Fiat brand’s 120 years of rich history. Nonetheless, the Fiat Centoventi Concept looks forward beyond the present as it represents the brand’s vision of future electric mass mobility.

Taking inspiration from Italian design, the Centoventi is the embodiment of the brand’s “less is more” philosophy. This means that everything unnecessary will have to be removed to provide more space for the occupants, for the community and for the brand’s DNA.

The most exciting thing about the Fiat Centoventi Concept is the fact that it offers essential yet customizable solutions. Basically a “blank canvas,” the Centoventi is produced in just one color (white), allowing customers to “paint” it according to their tastes and needs.

For instance, customers can personalize the exterior of the Fiat Centoventi Concept according to their whims through four external wrappings, four roof options, four bumpers as well as four wheel covers. Inside, the customer can change the interior color, cabin configuration, roof setup as well as infotainment system.

Interestingly, the all-electric range of the new Fiat Concept Centoventi may be also be customized. If you just need 60 miles of range, you can have it. If you want to go as far as 300 miles, the Centoventi could be customized that way too.

Because of the fact that the Centoventi is a blank canvas, updates or new looks can be implemented through the add-on elements – which eliminates the need for special editions or face-lifts.

The Fiat Concept Centoventi can be viewed at FCA’s 6,000-square foot booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center during the CES 2020, which opens on January 7.
