Be the first to own a 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. The car is being sold at auction by Barrett-Jackson at the end of this month. The C8.R was victorious at the iconic circuits of Daytona, Detroit, Le Mans, and Sebring and now its technology is being introduced to the streets of America with the all-new Z06. A car that can perform on the track, the Z06 features a flat-plane V8, producing a mind-blowing 670 hp, which will roar from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.6 seconds. This engine is the most powerful, naturally aspirated V8 currently in production.

Chevrolet put this first production Corvette Z06 up for grabs, available at the Barrett Jackson annual Scottsdale sale on 29 January 2022. Being the first production car for 2023, the winning bidder won't be driving the car home from the auction, as what they are actually bidding for, is the build slot with Chevy, and the right to buy ahead of the rest of the public.

Expecting to hit seven figures, all proceeds of the sale of this car will be donated to Operation Homefront, a non-profit organization, dedicated to helping and working with military families in the United States.

This is not a one-off donation from Chevy. Back in 2020, they donated the first Corvette C8, which sold for $3 million.

More About Lot #3009, What Is So Special About This Z06?

The all-new Chevy Z06, an affordable supercar, has a big engine - a 5.5-liter LT6 whopper of an engine to be exact. The winning bidder will enjoy the detail the exterior of the car has to offer - from aerodynamics to handling and cooling, this car definitely hits the sweet spot. Not only does the Z06 have a big engine, but it also appears wider and lower thanks to the larger wheels and air intake.

This appearance is exaggerated all the more by an innovative rear fascia, incorporating floating exhaust bezels in the center. Carbon-fiber interior trim highlights the lightweight feel and track inspiration of the Z06.

Lot #3009 will be a coupé, although the Z06 will be available as a convertible and the buyer will be able to spec out the rest of the car build. With 12 exterior colors and seven interior colors to select from, this is probably the most bespoke Corvette available.
