Remember that incredible street race from the movie 2Fast 2Furious? Yeah, that one Brian wins with a midair overtake.

If so you'll also remember the bit where Suki's pink Honda S2000 sails through the air after flying off that raised drawbridge. That was pretty cool, huh? Well, it'll be even cooler right after you find out that it was mostly real.

Well, it was almost completely real, except for the fact that Suki, played by Devon Aoki, wasn't inside. According to recently released behind-the-scenes footage, the Honda was remote-controlled and the ramp was very real.

The video was posted to YouTube by Craig Lieberman, the technical director for the first Fast & Furious movies. Lieberman has been releasing personal clips, as well as some of the backstories behind the movies' creation, and we are absolutely loving it.

So the sweet, pink S2000 was fitted with a remote-control system that made it so the car could soar through the air in real time without the actress or a stunt double having to risk life and limb.

What's funny, though, is that the persons controlling the car - while following in a Dodge Durango - went off the ramp too, even though they weren't supposed to. Apparently, the brakes couldn't engage quickly enough to stop them from going off. So basically, there was one more slightly damaged vehicle than was originally planned for that particular scene.

The clip above is pretty informative, even today. The movie, which was released in 2003, is just one of several top movies from the F&F franchise. And Lieberman has been sharing interesting factoids from the first two movies online and in his book for years.

He's since taken to YouTube to show off some never-before-seen production footage and we are indeed thankful. Keep em' coming, Craig!
