Ford's marketing team may have overachieved and created a problem for the new Bronco. After months of teases and calculated press opps, including sending a Bronco to rock crawl on the Rubicon Trail, the new off-roader has proven so popular amid the coronavirus pandemic that pre-orders could be facing delays of 18 months, or more. Ford may decide to hold off on much more in the way of advertisement—but the general public's appetite for all things Bronco seems insatiable.
The result has been a steady stream of spy shots popping up on fan forums like Bronco6G, including this last batch posted by a user going by the name LadyBronco that features Ford's new SUV in Big Bend, WildTrak, and Badlands trim in detailed images showing the exterior, interior, and accessories that will be available once the Bronco does, eventually, hit the market.
Two-Door And Four-Door Broncs
The three Broncos show off their stuff in contrasting paint jobs Shadow Black, Cyber Orange, and Area 51, the latter of which looks slightly more blue than in many previous shots—perhaps due to the ambient lighting. The size difference between two-door and four-door models stands out, a consideration which stands out for Bronco buyers because the rig's body is already wider than the Jeep Wrangler's.
Bronco-Blocking Bull Bar
While the interior images reveal the looks of two-tone cloth and leather seats, most Bronco fans will probably be more interested in some of the accessories, including the shot above, which provides an up-close look at what could be a factory bull bar. Whether or not Ford intends to block off the bold Bronco badging on the front grille with a design like this remains a mystery.
Mud Flaps And Roof Racks
In today's off-roading world, roof tents, awnings, storage boxes, and racks are a must, so this image of the hardtop Bronco's rail-mounted crossbars sheds light on how aftermarket attachments may be mounted. Of course, part of the Bronco image surrounds the removable roof sections, which helps explain the bulky bar ends.
