There is absolutely no question that Ford is one of the greatest car manufacturers in the history of the automobile world, so it definitely deserves a plethora of praise for its impact. Without this car manufacturer, we would have never been have never been able to receive some of the best models of all-time. However, even with all of this being the case, it is important to note that Ford has also made some of the worst models ever. In fact, some of their questionable decisions with these models make us truly wonder what exactly they were aiming to do with them. There is no question that criticism is definitely warranted when looking at some of these.

With all that has been stated thus far, we will be looking at twenty Ford cars that we still can’t figure out the purpose for. It is very important to note that these vehicles can come from any decade from their history, as well as any model type. However, a handful of concept cars will be discussed as well because it is surprising that the car manufacturer would even consider making these for the public. At the end of the day, we must never forget how spectacular Ford has been to the automobile world. Yet, that does not excuse them for the absolute lemons they have released over the years as well, so they must be discussed.

20 1974 Ford Gran Torino Elite

The 1974 Ford Gran Torino Elite was definitely a model that had an abundance of potential when it first hit the primary market. This definitely made a plethora of sense at the time because of the fact that the car manufacturer had done a pretty solid job with vehicles like it in the past.

However, buyers quickly learned that this vehicle was a complete and utter flop.

When seeing how this vehicle had the ability to essentially break down on its own, it makes a lot of sense that it would end up becoming one of the most poorly remembered Ford cars of all-time.

When looking at the design of this vehicle, it truly is surprising that the car manufacturer would have ever believed that people would have been interested in this strange look. When seeing how this vehicle would have had a small nuclear reactor in the back of it, it makes a lot of sense as to why buyers would have never wanted to own this vehicle. At the end of the day, this is one of the stupidest ideas out there in the history of this car manufacturer.

The 2005 Ford SYNus was a concept car from the car manufacturer and it definitely possessed an extremely strange look. This vehicle would have solely been made for the fact that it was meant to protect its passengers to a new level. However, it makes a lot of sense that it never happened.

This vehicle would have not been able to sell that well and that can easily be seen with how ugly it truly would have turned out.

At the end of the day, this looks as if it would have been a good vehicle in a battle, but that is about it. It is hard to think of what Ford was attempting to do with it.

The Probe series could have done so much better if this vehicle had not been released to it. However, this major lemon is one that the car manufacturer will forever have to live with.

I understand that they were aiming to build a smaller car that would provide safety and could be classified as a family one, but they completely missed the mark with it.

The 2017 Ford Focus is already considered to be one of the worst models from Ford during this decade and it definitely is on the verge of becoming one of their worsts ever. However, due to the fact that it has only been a little over a year since its release, we will give them a break.

However, it is hard to imagine that this vehicle will be able to turn it around and suddenly become a reliable car.

At the end of the day, it simply was horribly built and has already seen some major red flags as well. There is no question Ford really should have worked harder on it.
