What Is Its Specification?

Coming from Ontario and built by Multimatic, this model is lighter than its predecessor with an extra 200 horsepower, giving it up to 700 horsepower in total. This Ford GT MkII features a 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine, which is popular for its ability to beat any V12. This engine features in a Ford F150 pickup truck too, which might make supercar fans question its ability. However, this gives the GT MkII an advantage seeing as it means that the engine has gone through a lot of trial and error already.

Ford took it upon themselves to recreate 45 units so that any MkII lover can take a wild ride down memory lane. But, it comes at a price.

The recreation of the Ford GT MkII, which was first made in 1966 and won not one but three Le Mans titles, is not cheap. In fact, it is the most expensive new Ford ever sold, with a price of $1.2 million.

Its increase in power has a part to play in the increase in price. The 200 horsepower increase is possible through modifications such as gallery-cooled pistons, higher energy ignition coils, and a Heffner performance exhaust system. The improvements in airflow and cooling enable the GT MkII to perform better than any other model, which does justify its price.

With just 45 models of the Ford GTII built and those models exclusively available to Multimatic customers only, this means that of course, it is now sold out and not possible to get.

Overall, the Ford GT MkII recreation is an impeccable choice from Multimatic. It is the best thing to happen for Ford and supercar fans and everyone can admit that this is the best version of the MkII yet.
