The Ford Mustang is an all-time classic muscle car, with almost legendary status, and even now, it is still a highly popular machine. Modifying one might be controversial, but digital car renders mean this can happen with no consequences. Highly talented Czech-based renderer Rostislav Prokop has created this rendering set of a Mustang Boss 302, and added a monster widebody kit onto it made of carbon to create the Yellow BOSS, which stands out in more ways than one.

Yellow Paintwork Emphasizes The Boss

Of course, our eyes are immediately drawn to the outlandish paint job this Mustang has. It's in bright yellow, save for the carbon widebody extras, and that really allows this Mustang to pop right out. On top of that, the yellow compliments and pairs up with the carbon body kit very nicely indeed, which in turn allows the body kit itself to be more noticeable. The yellow extends across probably 80% of the bodywork, including the hood, the doors, and the roof. Regarding other cosmetic details, there is a neat Mustang badge slap bang in the middle of the front grille.

Analyzing Those Carbon Widebody Additions

The carbon widebody additions are what really make this Mustang stand out. The front sees big changes, with the addition of a big splitter and an almost secondary splitter across the bottom of the grille. Both of these parts of the car integrate into the huge wheel fenders that hide bigger and beefier tires. The main splitter at the bottom has aero flicks at each side, while the air-scoop in the center of the hood is also in carbon to match with the rest of the additional bodywork.

Carbon Cosmetics Stretch Across The Mustang

The carbon changes carry on across more of the Mustang. Across the side of the car is a more pronounced side-skirt, with a sculpted flick at the end just in front of the rear wheel fenders. Like the front, the rear fenders are much, much bigger than as standard, and looking at the rear we can see a diffuser is now added for a bit more rear-end performance. The rear fascia is quite interesting on the Yellow Boss. The outer parts are in yellow, but the middle area, including the taillights and Mustang logo, are all in carbon. The rear wing, the same style as on the boss, is also now a piece of lightweight carbon.
