Ford unveiled a redesigned 2023 Ranger last fall. It will arrive in dealerships later this year. Ford's YouTube Channel has now posted a video of the highly anticipated 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor. The official world debut for the Ford Ranger Raptor will take place on February 22.

Ranger Raptor Will Likely Have Twin-Turbo V6

The video shows a 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor swiftly maneuvering through rugged terrain. The sound of the engine suggests there is a turbocharged gasoline motor under the hood. Since the Ranger shares a platform with the Bronco, it will likely sport the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6. Ford has already said the Bronco Raptor will have over 400 horsepower. So expect similar numbers for the Ranger Raptor.

Like the Bronco Raptor, the Ranger Raptor will likely have a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. The Ranger Raptor will likely feature the same off-road goodies as the Bronco Raptor as well. That includes springs from the F-150 Raptor and Fox 3.1 internal bypass semi-active dampers.

The previous Ranger Raptor was never offered in the United States, but left-hand-drive prototypes suggest the new Ranger Raptor will be in U.S. showrooms.
