The Forza Horizon 5 developers are constantly adding new cars to the game. However, this may very well be one of Forza Horizon 5's most diverse entry of cars yet.

Hyper-EVs, Muscle Cars, Microvans, and Subcompact Cars

Forza announced all the new cars that are coming to the franchise, and it's a mixed bag of performance cars and everyday cars. Every Thursday for the next month, players will get the chance to unlock a new car until the Series 5 announcement comes. In celebration of the Chinese New Year, Forza is making the new Series 4 update Chinese-themed, so all the cars on this list are Chinese. And so, without further ado, let's take a look at what Forza Horizon 5 has in store for us over the next coming weeks.

First on the list is the 2016 Nio EP9, an all-electric Chinese hypercar. This car obliterated the Nürburgring lap record in 2017 when it clocked in a time of 6 minutes 45.90 seconds. It isn't road legal, and that may be because it has 1,360 horsepower. The Nio EP9, which is a new car to the Forza franchise, will be available on February 3.

The 2013 Wuling Sunshine S is a drastic change of pace from the Nio EP9, being a microvan that's the size of a compact car. However, it's not just any microvan — it's the best-selling car of all time in China. The edition that players will be getting is the "S" variant, which means under the hood is a 1.2-liter 82 horsepower engine. The Wuling Sunshine S will be available to unlock on February 10.

Week 3: 2015 MG MG3

The brand MG has moved away from its British roots after its operations moved to China. Nonetheless, the niche MG-badged subcompact car will make its way into Forza Horizon 5 for players to unlock. The stock 1.5-liter engine pushes out 104 horsepower, which is more horsepower than the Sunshine S, but only by a few. Players will be able to unlock the MG MG3 on February 24.

This is another MG-produced car, though this one is vastly more performance-oriented than the MG3. The MG XPower SV-R was a Ford Mustang-inspired car by MG, and at first look, looked like it had great potential. It boasted having the exterior designer of the McLaren F1 on its side and a V8 up front. Despite this, MG only sold an estimated 82 units of XPower SV-R's. This is the last new car players will be able to unlock for Series 4. It will be available for unlock on February 24.
