Electric cars are quickly but surely dominating the car market, some even make perfect family cars. Since the debut of the Tesla Model S, everyone has had a craze for electric cars. However, this is not to say that Tesla invented electric cars. Electric cars have been around since the cars were first invented but only got recognition when the Model S proved to be a worthy contender as a performance car.

The first electric car made its debut 130 years ago in 1890. This car was built by a chemist who doubled as an engineer – William Morrison. This car, although functional, was hardly practical. Its top speed was 14 mph, with a despicable range of 30-40 miles.

Since then electric cars were considered glorified golf carts. However, with Tesla showing that there is more to electric cars, many major car manufacturers are now opting to build electric cars. Let us have a look at five future electric cars we can't wait to drive and five we don’t care about.

The Nails had a “truck bed” and it is hard to think of how you are to use the bed if you were to buy the truck. Let us hope that Nissan learned its lesson and that the Ariya will be a redemption, instead of this disappointment.
