The Ferrari 812 Superfast has a maximum power output of 800 cv at 8,500 rpm, a new benchmark for Ferrari, and a maximum torque of 718 Nm at 7,000 rpm, a first for a naturally-aspirated Ferrari production engine, yet Novitec, a German tuning company seemed to think that wasn’t super fast enough.

Novitec has released the Ferrari 812 N-Largo. increasing power by 39bhp and 29lb ft, boosting the naturally-aspirated V12 to a total output of 828bhp and 553lb ft. Though it may not seem like much, 0.1sec has been reduced from its 0-62mph time, cutting the sprint to 2.8sec and top speed to an enhanced 214mph.

The Superfast has also been equipped with a new exhaust system, available in stainless steel or Inconel, which is used on Formula 1 cars, and with or without valves. Aside from the increase in volume, reduced back pressure improves performance, and the Inconel option saves 11kg of weight.

In the past Novitec, known for its uncharacteristic body kits, launched the F12 N-Largo, its enhanced Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, which features greater power and sound. The 812 Superfast N-Largo will showcase new carbon fiber bodywork with7cm of width added to the front, 14cm to the rear, and an array of new design features. The total width is now an astounding 211cm, wider than the Maserati MC12 by 1cm.

Novitec says the new bodywork provides more downforce and improved high-speed stability. According to the company, their Superfast N-Largo is “aerodynamically inspired by the current Formula 1 racecars,” and includes a new diffuser, rear wing and air vent surrounds, which can be selected in body color, exposed matte or gloss carbon fiber. The new suspension drops ride height by 35mm, and an optional lifting system helps drivers navigate irritating speed bumps or car park ramps.

Originally, the 812 Superfast, designed by the Ferrari Styling Centre, which made its debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, reimagined the front-engined V12 Ferrari proportions without varying the exterior dimensions or interior space.
