It's a fantastic time to be a racing video game fan. Gearheads today have great games like Microsoft's Forza Horizon 4 and 5, NFS: Unbound, and Gran Turismo 7 at their disposal, just to name a few. Gran Turismo is Sony's flagship racing game series for the PlayStation console, and the franchise has spearheaded graphical and gameplay innovation for years now. The latest entrant in the series, Gran Turismo 7, came out in March 2022, and has been a stellar success ever since.

GT7 gives players an extensive selection of sports cars, supercars, breathtaking visuals, and gorgeous tracks from all over the world as their playground. Plus, the franchise is also known for collaborating with the biggest marques of the industry and bringing to life their futuristic supercar concepts, which are always a delight to experience in-game. Considering just how popular Gran Turismo 7 is, it's only natural to want to get in on the hype, especially if you're a gearhead with a thing for realistic track-racing. Thus, if you're wondering how to get started, here is how you can get your hands on Gran Turismo 7, and how much you would need to spend for it.

Anyone who wishes to get into Gran Turismo 7 and race, either offline or online with their friends in some of the best cars in the world, would firstly need a PlayStation console. That's right, the Gran Turismo series has always been exclusive to the PlayStation consoles. Anyone with either a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 would be able to download, install, and play Gran Turismo 7 on their console. Of course, they could also buy the disk version of the game, provided their PlayStation 5 console, too, supports physical game disks.

Sadly, for car enthusiasts with either just a gaming PC or an Xbox console, GT7 is not, and wouldn't be available on any other platform. Of course, for PC gamers and Xbox players, there are always the Forza Horizon games, as well as Forza Motorsport 7, which, although older than GT7, still stacks up pretty well. Plus, there's even the latest Need For Speed: Unbound game, which is available across all platforms.
