An American circle track race car from the 1930s is being brought back to life in a crossover between Hagerty's Redline Rebuilds and the Barn Find Hunter. Redline Rebuilds has been doing strip downs and rebuilds of classic engines on their channel while Tom Cotter of Barn Find Hunters has been touring the US looking for hidden automotive treasures and talking to the owners. In this week's video they divid and conquer the front and rear axle.

Redline Rebuilds

The Hagerty Media channel has carved a niche of oddly soothing stop motion/time-lapse videos of classic motors being torn apart, cleaned, and reassembled. In addition to that Bob Ross calm for gearheads, they've also added videos of particular projects or explainer videos such as upgrading a Sunbeam Tiger's engine.

Barn Find Hunter

Tom Cotter popularized the idea of the 'barn find' with his first book on the subject, The Cobra in the Barn. In that book, he chronicled the discovery of various notable classics that had been hidden away. His Barn Find Hunter channel features Cotter driving his old Woody wagon and uncovering forgotten collections, like the $4 million find that included an original Shelby Cobra and Ferrari 275 GTB/2.

The Ford Racer

On episode 44 of Barn Find Hunter, Cotter ran across a man named Snowball Bishop who had a field of relic Fords. That episode featured a 1937 Ford short track car that caught the imagination of both Cotter who had been looking for a crossover project with Redline Rebuilds. Bishop had bought the Ford after its racing days were done with the intention of transferring the body to a Chevy frame before health put a halt to work.
