We all love a good drag race or two.
There isn’t much better than watching some high performance vehicles going flat out down the strip.
One platform of vehicle that is very popular for drag racing is the General Motors G Platform, often known as G-body.
It is perhaps most famous for giving us the Buick Grand National.
This video uploaded onto YouTube by Jmalcom2004 shows several G-Body cars in action as they tear up the drag strip.
The G-Body Drag Racer Action Commences
We get some pretty crazy action from these G-Bodys in this video, with them all featuring nitrous. Our first G-Body looks to be an Oldsmobile Cutlass.
Some modifications to this car are crazy such as the hood design and the nitrous we see coming out of it.
The car on its massive slick tires warms them up and then gets ready to launch.
When it does launch, it is absolutely wild as it rockets down the drag strip.
We don’t get any timings here, but we don’t really need them to know that this car is damn quick.
A Chevrolet Monte Carlo Drag Racing On The Strip
Next up it looks like we have a Monte Carlo from Chevrolet taking center stage.
Again, this car features a crazy hood with a huge scoop, and it looks quite mean in its red color with the badass wheel design it also has.
The Monte Carlo warms itself up for its run, and we see the nitrous ooze out of the hood.
Once again, when this car gets the power down it just vanishes down what looks like a 1/8 mile strip before it comes off the throttle.
Next up we see a Pontiac Grand Prix work its magic down the strip, again with some impressive acceleration.

All of these cars deliver some punch and powerful performances, as they showcase just how potent they are.
After the Grand Prix does several wheelies on its way down the drag strip we get our final G-Body in the form of the Oldsmobile Cutlass we saw earlier.
This mean and evil looking black machine does exactly the same as all the other cars before it, putting in a mega fast run down the drag strip as its nitrous helps to vanish from view.
We are in G-Body heaven with this video, watching these cars hurtle down the strip.
