Many of you reading this are perhaps too young to remember George Lucas' groundbreaking "American Graffiti." With a slate of future stars, it traced the coming of age of some California kids through the trials and travails of growing up, Vietnam, and hot rodding up and down America's boulevards.

The movie also had a very young Harrison Ford as Bob Falfa behind the wheel of a 1955 Chevy looking to dethrone local champ John Milner in his "Deuce Coupe." The end of the movie has a great drag race that deserves a watch. I've included a clip below. Given its history, and the appearance of this custom restomodded 1955 Chevy 210 clad in black, I thought we'd take a look at one of Hollywood's hottest rides.

The car above is listed for sale at a price of $84,900 which considering the work that went into it seems like a deal. The car was treated to a rotisserie restoration finished in Black PPG 2-stage paint. The front end is fitted with a reworked bumper with stainless grille, clear parking lamps, and slick polished headlights. Front and center is the classic Jetbird hood emblem in stainless-trim. The car has fresh glass all around, new low profile seats, more modern mirrors, and trick door handles and speed spears.

Under the hood is a sweetened up LS2 with Street Performance air filter and custom composite intake. She has a polished serpentine drive with power steering, polished alternator, and polished AC compressor. The attention to detail continues with wire covers, fuel rail pieces, and coated headers. Backing up the engine is a Chevy 4-speed automatic transmission. Keeping things cool is a polished Griffin radiator, polished expansion tank, and oversized electric puller fan.

Check It Out In "American Graffiti"

The end result is a beautiful car that would make even Bob Falfa proud. Check him out above and his fateful encounter with John Milner's "Deuce Coupe." R.I.P. Han Solo. Buckle up.
