Many gearheads would love to drive a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE. This GM muscle car offers performance and sounds that can appease power-minded Chevy fans. Nevertheless, some fans may find the 2022 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE lacking no thanks to more potent muscle cars. But as this YouTube video from Hennessey Performance shows, this Camaro conversion called the Exorcist turns the dials a level higher.

Camaro ZL1 1LE Conversion Turned Over To Customer

The Hennessey Exorcist is a potent Camaro ZL1 1LE conversion that makes the factory model look and feel slow. The owner of this Exorcist experienced this first-hand when she rode shotgun with Davion, Hennessey’s Technician Team Lead. Davion took the new owner and the Exorcist to the Pennzoil Provings Grounds sitting just next to their facility to show her the performance level of her converted Camaro.

During the entire intense drive, the owner can’t help but smile as Davion pilots the car on the track. This is especially true each time Davion pushes the Hennessey Exorcist a bit further. The owner appeared like a proud mother to a newborn child as she confidently smirks while Camaro ZL1 1LE conversion tear through the asphalt and accelerating like there is no tomorrow.

Of course, a factory Camaro ZL1 1LE is never a slow muscle car. Thanks to its supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine delivering 650 hp of max output and 650 lb-ft of peak torque, the Camaro ZL1 1lE can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and complete a quarter mile in just 11.7 seconds. However, the Exorcist does things much better. As per Hennessey, the Exorcist can zoom from 0 to 60 mph in 2.1 seconds and complete the quarter mile in 9.57 seconds at 147 mph. It can also go as fast as 217 mph.

Hennessey made this possible by implementing a high-flow supercharger upgrade and installing a high-flow air induction system, a custom HPE camshaft, and ported Cylinder Heads. Hennessey also upgraded a number of the car’s components.
