Hennessey Performance shows off its HPE600 Lincoln Navigator upgrade by drag racing it against a stock model.

Do you like big SUVs? Do you like big SUVs with even bigger motors? Do you like SUVs the size of small apartment buildings with jet engines strapped to their backs? Then Hennessey has the car for you.

It might not have a jet engine, but the HPE600 upgrade to the Lincoln Navigator is about as close as you can get and still be able to legally drive it on public roads.

What was once a 3.5-L twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 (the same as found under the hood of the Ford Raptor) is still the same 3.5-L twin-turbo EcoBoost, but now has a modified turbo wastegate, new intercooler, new stainless steel catback exhaust, and a new engine control management chip.

Give it some performance tuning and all necessary fluids and gaskets, and what was once a 450 hp Navigator is now a 600 hp monster.

Zero to sixty is done in just 4.8 seconds, which is quite fast for an SUV. Quarter-mile drag races are done in under 13 seconds.

Also available are optional Brembo brakes, which we highly recommend taking for a 6,000 lb SUV that was never intended to have 600 horsepower. A 2-inch lowering kit and 22-inch Monoblock wheels with performance tires are also available.

So how’s the HPE600 do against a stock Navigator? It crushes it.

It’s not even a contest. The HPE600 just walks away and never looks back, out-performing the old stock Navigator by every conceivable metric. If you want to own a Navigator (and let’s face it, it’s perhaps the best SUV you can get that’s not a private jet) then this is probably the best version of the Navigator on the market.
