8 Ram SRT10 Night Runner

The Night Runner is perhaps one of the most insane pickup trucks to go into production, as it houses a Viper engine. As it turned out, a 500-hp supercar V-10 engine placed in a RWD pickup is a lot of fun.

The powerplant was a masterpiece that was born from a collaboration between Lamborghini and Chrysler. It's coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission to control the ferocious V-10. Dodge has never lacked in producing a dose of crazy, and this special edition transformed Ram truck falls in that category. Only about 9,500 of these monsters made it into people's hands, and fewer still exist in the garages.

Every couple of years, Mopar releases a limited edition of hand-built dodge Challengers for the National Muscle Car Association competition and National Hot Rod Association. As the name suggests, this Challenger is equipped with a V-10 and made for one ultimate purpose - to dominate the drag strip. Sadly though, it's usually not street legal.

You can spot this unique super cool ride from its black paint graphics. This exclusive is super rare, as only 50 are ever made every couple of production years.

Most innovations in muscle cars resulted from a need to outdo the competition at the drag strip. In the 1960s manufacturers would squeeze the largest V8 motors under the hood, strip weight, and upgrade suspension components to achieve victory. This is exactly how the 330 Ramcharger was born.

It may not look like much at first compared to modern hellcats, but it was the equivalent of an SRT Demon during its era. With its 4-speed transmission and spartan interior, it keeps things as easy as can be. This classic is a true rarity, as only 162 were made.

By the late '60s, the Dodge Dart was one of the most lightweight muscle cars you could get. It would come with 340 or even 383 horses. While that might sound high for the light car, it wasn't enough for some speedsters.

In response, Dodge sought out Hurst, and together they developed a handful of special edition Dart GTSs with 440. This V8 was enough to propel the car to NHRA victories.

The nostalgia after the Challenger managed its 40th anniversary was immense. To celebrate this feeling, Mopar rolled it out in Panther Pink similar to the first Challenger in 1970. They only made about 1500 cars in high-impact color.

Though not a very masculine color, the hot pink was very befitting for the muscle car. It gave it sort of a wild and rare look, unlike your ordinary muscle cars. It also came in custom 20" polished aluminum alloys that further set it aside from the pack.

3 Dodge GLHS

A Shelby-tuned version of the Dodge Omni GLH was only made for the 1986 model year, and only 500 were made. The Shelby factory upgraded the Omni GLH into the GLHS. A three-digit serial number was issued to each since only 500 of these items were produced. The Turbo I engine, which would eventually be renamed the Turbo II engine, provides the power for this great car. An intercooler and a few other additions were made to the vehicle.

The GLHS's 2.2L 4-cylinder engine now produces 175 horsepower and 175 lb-ft Of torque as a result of these upgrades. The automobile is impressively powerful, with a horsepower/pound ratio of 12.6 and a curb weight of just 2205 pounds. It's a good start!

2 Dodge Charger Super Bee (2007-2009)

Dodge produced a limited number of 1000 Super Bee Chargers from 2007 until 2009. They were fast and fun to drive, but they didn't live up to their moniker, "Super Bee," in reference to the top-end SRT8 Charger.

To save money, Super Bee visuals were simply bolted on top of an SRT8 that had already been assembled. In addition, the Charger's return as a comeback story for a once iconic automobile was unsatisfying due to the car's total plastic interior and inferior overall quality.

Talking of exclusivity, it doesn't get much better than with this muscle car. Only a handful of fewer than 100 units were ever manufactured. The Super Bee package used to be added to the Coronet lineup, but in 1971 they decided to move it to to the Charger.

What made it special was the special paint and decals, special trim equipment, and a powerful 426-hp engine. Gearheads have gasped for decades in awe of this thing, if they get a chance to ride in one, that is.
