It's no secret that the R&B crooning superstar has a soft spot for the roaring engine and luxurious rides. The Starboy singer is always referencing them in his lyrics.

From the slums of the Toronto streets to the top of the charts, you can bet when he finally got his money right, he wanted a few rides that only superstars can afford. Like any car enthusiast, performance is definitely a key factor in the whips he chooses, but unlike some entertainers, The Weeknd still likes to keep some things low key.

Let's take a look at the rides that the ominous turned pop sensation crooner keeps in his small but powerful personal car collection.

“She wanna ride in my G-Class gray matic” some of the lyrics from The Weeknd’s hit song "Often". Layered in a few of his records are references to expensive rides, so its no surprise that one of these are actually in his garage.

The G63 is the top-of-the-line hand-built engine version of the G-Class segment at Mercedes Benz. Under the hood, it packs a 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 that produces 577hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. It might be shaped like a brick, but with all that power, it blasts through the wind and hits a 0-60 time of 3.9 seconds, which is blistering for any car. Considering the lack of aerodynamics and the fact that the behemoth tips the scales just shy of three tons at 5800lbs, it becomes even more amazing.

Bentley Mulsanne Is A More Relaxed Option For The Weeknd

via Motor1

Bentley started life as the performance arm of Rolls Royce, and even though they may have since changed hands, it's great to see that they still hold true to their roots. Known for coddling its occupants in comfort and luxury without compromising on-road prowess, it's no wonder the Weeknd added this top of the food chain whip to his personal collection. When he gets tired of driving in his supercars, it's nice to sometimes be chauffeured.

The Mulsanne is a limousine-like long, and with ample room in the back seat, it quickly becomes the place to be instead of driving. The rear-wheel drive land yacht is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 6.75 L V8 that produces 505hp or an upgraded 530hp. This luxo cruiser measuring 219.5 inches long pushes all of its 5919lbs, launching it from a standstill to 60 in a scant 4.8 second for the enhanced performance Speed model.

Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Is One Of The Weeknd's Supercars

This Lamborghini is seriously fast. In fact, that's what SVJ stands for Serious Velocity Jet, right?. Close, but really, it means “SuperVeloce Jota”, Which is Italian for fast as hell on the track. The performance of a beast like this comes with a small circle of worthy competitors. The V12 in the mid-engined supercar keeps the center of gravity low, achieving an almost perfect 50/50 weight distribution.

729 horses giddy-up when The Weeknd puts his foot down barreling down the road and blisters past 60 in just 2.9 seconds. If you thought the performance was nuts you should check out the price tag. This $517,000 rocketship is well worth the money.

The Weeknd Also Owns A McLaren P1

via trustedreviews.com

The famous McLaren P1 in The Weeknd’s car collection actually is “cleaner than your church shoes”. First revealed to fans in the singer’s 2016 hit "Starboy", the sleek coupe’s otherworldly curves and overall shape make it a head-turner wherever it goes. In the video for "Starboy" The Weeknd walks past several cars in a garage before taking this one out. He blasts through the hills at night with a mash-up of sequences showing off the defining features of the modern-day classic. For shock value, he also appears to drive the car with a Black Panther beside him in the passenger seat.

The McLaren P1 is not a hypercar to play around with. The British supercar maker built the P1 with a 3.8L Twin-turbocharged V8 and 131Kw electric motor powerplant that generates a combined 903 horsepower. The hybrid supercar is capable of achieving 0-60 in only 2.8 seconds.
