In 2014, at the Geneva Auto Show, Lamborghini unveiled one of their most astonishing models, the Lamborghini Huracan. When the supercar hit the streets, many gearheads instantly fell in love with the design and performance of the car. However, Lamborghini was not done yet. The Italian firm took up their super sports car and redesigned it.

What resulted was a more performance-oriented version of the Huracan, dubbed the Huracan Performante for good measure. For context, the Performante churns out an additional 30 lb-ft of torque, and 29 more hp than the original Huracan, resulting in a more aerodynamic vehicle. With the classy Lambo look, insane tech features, and one of the most precise steering wheels around, there is so much to love about the Performante. These are the ten best features of Lambo’s Huracan Performante.

10 Powerful Engine

As common with the Huracan family, the Performante uses a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine with a dry-sump oil system, a compression ratio of 12.7:1, and titanium valves for increased performance.

The Performante blows out 640 horsepower at 8000 rpm and 443 lb-feet of torture at 6500 rpm for the numbers. It's also fitted with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, a reworked air intake system, and low weight exhaust system.

9 Redefined Styling

Lambos are usually a breathtaking sight, but the Performante is both a beauty and a beast in one fitting. Its styling has been reworked and redefined from that of its predecessor. It possesses a set of alloy wheels with central lock nuts, high-performance Trofeo R tires, brand-new front and rear bumpers, and remodeled side skirts. In addition, the exhaust has been rerouted up through the rear bumper.

The suspension, steering, and interiors were also not left out of the facelift, and all the build materials come in carbon composite and aluminum materials to watch the car's weight.

All Lambos are built for one purpose, performance, but the Performante is the Lamborghini of Lamborghinis. The Italian supercar does the 0-60 in 2.7 seconds and could reach 124 mph in 8.9 seconds with a top speed of 204 mph. It comes light, weighing about 3,047 lbs, with a front spoiler made of forged composite and an outstanding carbon-fiber wing at the rear.

The wing known as Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA) has an air cavity system that increases or decreases the downforce of the vehicle, ensuring both speed and good handling of the Performante. Many Lambo enthusiasts will agree that the Huracan Performante is Lamborghini's most versatile supercar ever.

7 Advanced Safety Features

4 All-Wheel Drive

Many supercars do not come with an all-wheel-drive system, but the Huracan Performante does. Although the Lambo is not specifically built for off-road adventures, it still has the ability to navigate bumps and rough terrains. The AWD system aids in providing balance for easy access to bumpy roads. There are also three drive modes: the Strada (street), Sport, and Corsa (track). You can switch between the three modes by flicking a control located at the bottom of the steering wheel.

The Strada mode makes the car quiet, supple, and responsive, shifting the gearbox at low revs. In sports mode, the engine breaths freely and enjoys all the attention a sports car can get, while the Corsa mode or thrust mode disables automatic shifting, so you’ll have to use just the paddles.

3 Great Warranty Package

You would be wrong to think that Lamborghini doesn't care for anything else other than speed. The Performante takes out the standard seats and replaces them with awesome-looking power-adjustable sport bucket seats. These seats not only offer a greater level of race car support but are well ventilated and can be heated up when required.

There is enough space to accommodate its two passengers (even taller ones) and trunk space of 3.5 cubic feet when you'll need to throw in some luggage for longer rides. The Performante also has a climate control system for maximum comfort and luxury.

1 Handling

Tackling corners in this supercar is incredibly easy, and the AWD is tuned to perfection. With the Corsa mode, you have a beast in your hands, while the sports mode tilts the car towards rear-wheel drive. With the more tame Strada mode, what you get is a greater level of stability and traction.
