Things are changing in the automobile industry, and the desire to go towards EVs is inevitable. It is not exclusive to one specific area or type of car; companies are trying to shift their products into a more environment-friendly vehicle, whether it's a supercar or SUV.

One of the pioneers of this idea is a Californian startup company, Alpha. This futuristic company plans on manufacturing a blend of old-school-looking trucks and an all-electric-based truck named the Alpha Wolf Truck. This vehicle is a massive leap over the past stereotypes of gritty trucks, proving EVs can also cruise all terrains.

Another revelation in the industry is the production of an electric Hummer vehicle. It might be surprising for the fans, but after the discontinuation of the Hummer in 2010, the car is coming back fully equipped in an all-electric armor.

But now, let's see how these two stack against one another.

In contrast to the Tesla Cybertruck's strange design, the Wolf seems relatively conventional, maybe even peculiarly familiar— like a classic small truck with a Baja bar, off-road lights, tubular bumpers, and enormous tires hardly restrained by some fender arch extensions. Alternatively, it might be compared to a Subaru Brat that has been given a contemporary makeover.

The Alpha Wolf is comparable in size to the Chevrolet S-10, which was previously considered a legitimate compact truck. Although it is just about two inches shorter than a single cab short bed S-10, it is about 8.0 inches broader and 2.5 inches taller. Its overall length is 188.0 inches. The Wolf has 18-inch wheels, which are enormous for an electric vehicle of this size.

The Alpha Wolf is featured with a variety of fascinating attachments, including circular off-road lighting, a rack in the bed, a solar grid, and a fire extinguisher and shovel placed in the bed. Stylish yet uncomplicated, the Alpha Wolf's interior has a giant center-mounted touchscreen display above a streamlined dashboard, a sophisticated electronic panel for the driver, duvet seats, and some type of layered center console arrangement.

Hummer EV’s Design And Features: Declaring War

Despite the fact that previous Hummers were mostly SUVs, the Hummer EV is a crew cab pickup with a five-foot-long bed. Interior space is comparable to that of a GMC Sierra crew cab pickup truck, and the Hummer EV's cabin may be exposed to the elements through a unique retractable top that reinstates a T-top-Esque form common in GM sports and muscle vehicles in the 1970s and 1980s, when they were first introduced.

When in use, the translucent panels function similarly to a standard panoramic glass sunroof, but when removed and stowed in the Hummer EV's frontal trunk, the vehicle takes on a convertible aesthetic equal to that of the Jeep Gladiator. As a nod to its association with NASA astronauts and the electrically driven Apollo 15 lunar rover, the inner surface has a number of moon-inspired elements, like a moon-boot imprint on the dead pedal and speaker grille depicting the Sea of Tranquility.

The infotainment monitor is 13.4 inches, while the digital instrument panel measures 12.3 inches. GMC has collaborated with Epic Games, the immensely popular Fortnite video game creator, to design the visuals for the Hummer EV's infotainment interface, which will be installed in the vehicle.

How The Alpha Wolf Is Going To Perform

The Irvine-based company claims that it is an all-electric two-seater pickup truck. You may choose between a vehicle with a single motor operating the rear wheels or a vehicle equipped with two electric motors driving all four wheels. The bottom of the vehicle would house a 75 KW lithium-ion battery bank, allowing it to go 250-275 miles as its range of motion.

The Wolf is said to be able to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in 6.2 seconds. According to the owners, the Wolf will have a 3000 lbs towing capacity.

For the time being, the sole available engine for the Hummer EV is an electric three-motor system with 1000 HP. You'll get a 3.0-second 0-60 MPH pace from the Hummer courtesy of the truck's Watts to Freedom launch control mode.

All-wheel drive is also standard. Despite GMC's claim of 11,500 lb-ft torque from this power plant, that projected amount is probably definitely computed by the torque-multiplying impact of the truck's gear ratios. This vehicle should be able to pull a ton, regardless of how that torque value is derived. As far as GMC sources are concerned, the torque figure will fall somewhere in the range of 1000 to 1100 lb-ft.

Both these cars have great features and specs and will change the way people look at trucks in the future. The Hummer EV might take the crown when it comes to performance, but other than that, you can't go wrong with either one of these spectacular vehicles.
