Back in the early 2000s, VH1 had a series called The Fabulous Life Of, and each episode featured a different celebrity who showcased their wealth, glitzy home, fancy cars, and glamorous toys. The series was a complete cliché of celebrity life, but it gave us a glimpse into the lives of the fortunate few. Since the 2000s, docuseries and realities have exploded and everyone got to see how the rich live, what they drove and ate, and where they vacationed. But despite the overexposure that comes with being a celebrity and our society’s obsession with celebrity culture, there are still some stars who live a normal life, mostly out of the spotlight.

One of these people is NASCAR star Austin Dillon, who, despite his recent reality series Austin Dillon's Life in the Fast Lane, seems like a pretty decent guy who doesn’t enjoy the spotlight and media frenzy too much. It’s worth noting that Dillon's guarded demeanor and media timidity only help to increase his fan appeal. And because he is such a private person, it makes it more challenging to estimate his net worth. So for all the Austin Dillon fans out there, here it is.

Too often, top athletes make more money from endorsements and advertising campaigns than from the actual sport. In 2019, Insider reported that LeBron James made 61 percent of his earnings from endorsements. This means that from his total earnings of $85.5 million, a staggering $52 million came from endorsements.

But LeBron James is hardly the only one. In fact, 84 percent of Roger Federer’s earnings came from endorsements and 97 percent of Tiger Woods’s money came from endorsements as well. Naturally, a NASCAR superstar like Austin Dillon has his own share of sponsors and companies chasing him, so he’s making good money out of commercials, endorsements, and marketing deals as well. In 2020, Dillon had sponsorship deals with Coca-Cola, Dow, Bass Pro Shops, American Ethanol, Symbicort, and Chevrolet. Last March, Bennett Family of Companies announced the enhancement of its partnership with Richard Childress Racing for the 2022 NASCAR season. According to the agreement, Dillon raced the No. 3 Bennett Transportation & Logistics Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 at the Circuit of the Americas. And Bennett had associate placement on the No. 3 Chevrolet for select NASCAR Cup Series races in the 2022 season, according to Jayski.

“Richard Childress Racing has been a world-class partner,” said Lynette Mathis, Vice President of the Bennett Family of Companies. “They have provided opportunities within motorsports to leverage customer relationships, develop new business opportunities and provide an avenue for recruitment among the sport's passionate and dedicated fan base. We look forward to building on those successes this season by extending our relationship into the NASCAR Cup Series with Austin Dillon and the No. 3 team, while continuing to activate around the successful program we have developed around Austin Hill in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.”

Huk is another company that has a sponsorship deal with Austin Dillon for the 2022 season. Last Spring, Toby Christie announced that Huk will serve as primary sponsor for Dillon, RCR in multiple races starting with the Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway.

“I’ve enjoyed representing Huk and look forward to continuing the relationship,” said Dillon in a press release. “Everyone at Huk is just as passionate about the outdoors as I am, and I know NASCAR fans will really embrace some fun styles and designs that Huk plans to weave into the 2022 season.”

While Austin Dillon hasn’t released details of his sponsorships deals, we know that the NASCAR superstar has taken part in some cool campaigns with his sponsors. For example, Dillon painted his race car in pink, placing the AdvoCare logo on the vehicle for the Kansas Speedway race where he finished sixth. Supposedly, he painted the race car in pink to raise awareness for breast cancer because AdvoCare was donating $1 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., for every bottle of pink lemonade Spark canister sold. Dillon has another source of income and corporations can book him for corporate appearances and speaking engagements, according to Athlete Speakers.
