The Chevrolet Camaro is a mid-size American automobile manufactured by Chevrolet. The Camaro was introduced on September 29 1966, and was designed to compete with the Ford Mustang. The Camaro shared its platform and major components with the Firebird, which was also introduced in 1967 by Chevy's sister division Pontiac.

Before production ended in 2002, the Camaro was developed in four different generations. On a concept car that evolved into the fifth-generation Camaro, the nameplate was revived, and production began on March 16, 2009. Camaros have been sold in excess of five million units.

The exorcist is extremely rare and exclusive due to its limited production of only 100 examples.

In 2021, Hennessey Performance Engineering celebrate its 30th anniversary with a run of 30th anniversary Exorcist Camaro ZL1s. The Exorcist Camaro ZL1 is a 1,000 hp speed machine that debuted in 2017 as a response to the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon.

The LT4 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 in the Camaro ZL1 gains a lot of power thanks to a larger supercharger that boosts the boost to 14 psi. Ported cylinder heads, a camshaft upgrade, long-tube stainless steel headers, a high-flow air induction system, and Hennessey's custom engine management calibration all help the Exorcist.

To save weight and improve airflow, the front grille has been enlarged, and the daytime running lights have been removed. The splitter expands and receives a pair of dive planes. The spoiler on the back of the ZL1 transforms into a wing that can generate 136 kg of downforce at 150mph. Something you can feel as soon as you get on the road with it. It's not juddery, and despite the firm ride, the damping is remarkably controlled and capable; you can lean on it. It also enjoys it when you attack. The front-end grip is insane, and you're more likely to spin before you even get close to understeering.

According to Maxim, the Exorcist Camaro is the world’s fastest muscle car, with 1000hp, it really does send the dodge demon straight back to hell.

What We Think The Coolest Feature Of The Exorcist Camaro Is

There are many features that stand out when checking out the Exorcist Camaro. However, the one feature that stands out the most, is just how powerful the car is. Coupled with an insane body kit and wild aerodynamics, the Exorcist Camaro produces immense power. Hennessey didn't mention the increased torque figures, but it did say that with the engine upgrade, the Exorcist would be able to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in under three seconds and break the quarter-mile in under ten ticks. In other words, the Exorcist is lightning fast.

According to dyno tests, 959 hp of those 1,000 horses makes it to the wheels, an increase of over 300 horses over the stock Camaro ZL1. More importantly, that number is more than 100 horsepower higher than the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, which can produce 840 horsepower and 770 pound-feet of torque on 100-octaine fuel. A monster of a car, the Exorcist may just be the ultimate demon slayer muscle car, ever!

Coming to an end, Hennessey have done some incredible work in the past, allowing it to earn the praise and recognition it so richly deserves.
