Car-themed movies are quite the thrill, especially for us automobile-fanatics. Over the years there has been a fair share of car thrill that has kept up on the edge with sick action and exotic car chase sequences. There are iconic movies like 'Drive' which was an instant classic, and then there are arcade-style action-packed movies like the Fast and Furious franchise which made us fall in love with cars, and where physics and sense normally take the back seat.

But as overly dramatic as some of the car-themed movies are right now, all of them manage to tick our car senses and put a smile. And these movies are not going to dull down in the coming years as well, as we have a bunch of interesting car-themed movies in the pipeline, a few of which are eagerly waited upon.

We give you a brief on 3 of the most anticipated car-themed movies lined up for 2022.

Fast And Furious 10 (Part 1 & 2) - The Adrenaline-Pumped Family Saga Is Ending

The long-standing family-centered saga is finally coming to an end. What started off as a simple street-racing movie has spiraled out to be a movie of a fight-knitted family who just loves cars and would go to any extent to save their 'world'. A lot of characters were introduced over the years and the universe had become so vast, that spin-offs were also made.

Justin Lin, who will be directing the last two movies of the F&F franchise has confirmed the last installation to be a two-part movie, just like the final jab of The Avengers. Our best guess is that the last two installations would most likely introduce another character into the movie that will shatter Dom Toretto and leave him split for choice.

We believe that his long-lost father will return, but sadly as a villain. And he would most probably join hands with Cipher and Etion. This piles up to be one of the greatest villain-bunch for Dominic Toretto who values family more than anything.

Cars 4 - Cruz Ramirez Might Take The Lead

The Cars franchise has been quite the entertaining lot with cool talking cars with Lighting McQueen going on a life-journey were revelations on believing in yourself turn out to be his greatest weapon. This old-school racer then goes on to win against the likes of hi-tech opponents including hybrid cars in the recent Cars 3 installment.

Cars 4 is still on the sidelines and we just hope that Pixar makes it. We are skeptical because despite bagging over $380 million for the 3rd installment, it still has degraded as compared to the 2nd installment which shows the lessening interest of viewers.

Well, with crossed fingers we do hope to see another of this pumped-up animation in 2022. And we believe that the lead role would be taken over by Cruz Ramirez as McQueen has become wiser by the end of Cars 3 and has also taken a jab on retiring. He would turn out to be her mentor and motivate her to victory.

You know that a movie would be filled with action when it is directed by Michael Bay and not to forget, a whole lot of destructive action. Be it the Bad Boys franchise or the Transformers bundle. he never ceases to blow the shit out on the big screen. One of his intriguing upcoming movies is called 'Ambulance'.

Now, don't be dulled down by the name as it has a plot that can very well be as iconic as the movie 'Speed' which by far is the most thrilling movie involving a bus! This movie will be of an ambulance (duh!). The plot here is of 2 desperate robbers who also happen to be brothers who attempt a theft to help pay their dying mother's hospital bills.

This goes sour when they find out that the ambulance they steal is actually occupied by a heart patient with the health worsening with every passing minute. This would be an interesting movie and will have actors like Jake Gyllenhall, Eiza Gonzalez, and Keir O'Donnell to name a few.
