The modern Dodge Dart made by Fiat-Chrysler did not have the longest and most fruitful life. There were plans in the mid-2010s to create an SRT version of the car, but sadly that never came to anything. Or did it? Well, thanks to digital car renderer Abimelec Arellano, we can see what an SRT Dart might have looked like. He has created this rendering set of the Dart turned SRT, giving us a glimpse of what could have been.

A Familiar SRT Grille At The Front

The front of the car has an air of familiarity with its grille design. It follows the general mesh trend that we see on other SRT cars such as the Hellcat, and the SRT badge is in full view as well on the front of the car. If you compare the fascia of this Dart to the original, modern version, you can see the extra aggression that the car has now taken on. Big fender flares are visible on the car as well, as is a hood scoop and much larger looking wheels, creating a very mean looking front fascia.

More Notable SRT Revisions

These are not the only SRT revisions to this car, either. Of course, the extra bodywork gives the car a widebody appearance. It has gained a lot more bulk compared to the standard Dart. The bright red paint job also helps the SRT Dart to really stand out and announce its presence. Arellano has given the Dart SRT Brembo brakes for extra braking capabilities, something you will need with the extra performance this car would no doubt have.

A Few More Changes At The Rear Of The Dart

The rear is perhaps where the changes might be the least obvious, but there are still plenty to look at. At the bottom, there is the same exhaust outlet setup as on the standard Dart, but above that is a slightly revised bumper. The bumper has outlets on either side and flows much better into the rear bodywork. The bigger fender flares are also obvious, arching nicely over those new, bigger, gloss black wheels. A rear lip spoiler is also present, but the general rear fascia over the Dart is still recognizable, with the changes at the rear being subtle, but enhancing the overall appearance of the car. This could have been an epic car, especially if, as Arellano says, it had gone down the same route as the Neon SRT-4.
