In recent years, Joe Rogan has risen to become one of the most popular podcast hosts in the world. He is also known for being a stand-up comedian, as well as being the voice of the UFC, commentating on fighting events since the late 1990s. What's less know about the Boston funny man, is his love of cars.

Rogan has quietly been amassing a spectacular collection of vehicles over the past decade, and with a reported $100 million Spotify deal on the horizon, its no wonder he has developed such a penchant for all things fast and loud.

Here then, is what Joe Rogan is driving today, from souped-up classics to modern European sports cars -  the 52-year-old's got them all.

1965 Modified Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

Arguably the most beautiful model in Rogan's fine collection, the Chevrolet Stingray is quite simply an all-American classic. This particular automobile, from 1965, was featured in an episode of Jay Leno's Garage - a clear sign of the fondness Rogan has for it. It's also one of the most expensive vehicles in his garage, costing an estimated $100,000 - though his modified version would probably set you back much more.

As a big fan of American muscle cars, this is hardly a surprising inclusion, but it is a notable one, as it's been modernized in just about every possible way. The picture above demonstrates its striking aesthetic, as the car was renovated by  Steve Strope of Pure Vision Design, making its silver paint job look even more pristine. The modifications weren't just on the exterior however, as underneath the hood, it has the engine of a modern-day sports car.

Rogan claims that he still uses the Stingray "all the time" for journeys to the store, as it "drives like a normal car", without the usual limitations that come with a 50-year-old American classic. Its most certainly one of a kind.

Tesla Model S

It isn't all nostalgia and V8's though, as his purchase of Tesla's Model S demonstrates. The comedian was a late convert to Tesla, after previously complaining about their lack of noise. However, the Model S appears to have won Rogan over, who recently said the electric roadster was “Without a doubt the most preposterously quick vehicle I’ve ever driven".

Rogan's family also appear to enjoy the Tesla's Ludicrous mode. Well, the youngster ones do at least. "My family yells at me when I stamp on the gas", he stated on the Joe Rogan Experience. "I  tell my kids, do you wanna feel it? (the acceleration), they're like 'do it, do it', but my wife says don't do it". Alongside the obvious speed advantages, Rogan is clearly impressed by the array of technology Tesla's have to offer, describing his Model S as a "F***ing spaceship!"

For Rogan, Tesla's upcoming Roadster model - which boasts a 0-60 time of just 1.9 seconds, is the future of automation. Slated for a 2020 release, it's a vehicle that could revolutionize the industry, or, as Joe claims, "the car is the future".

Porsche 911 GT3 RS

A European sports car to add to the mix, only this one is a little bit special. The GT3 is designed for the race track, though Rogan decided to boost its horsepower further just after he purchased it. He's a vocal fan of Porsche, which neatly explains why he chose to buy one of the German company's most radical models. Fresh out the factory, a GT3 of this nature would set you back just over $300,000.

Rogan's model, from 2007, isn't exactly at the cutting edge of innovation, but despite being 13-years-old, it remains a firm favorite. "The reason I still have it", he states, "every time I get in there, I get happy - it just feels amazing". Another reason he continues to use it, despite there being newer, and faster models of the 911 available, is due to a mechanical preference. "I want a god-damn manual transmission", claims Rogan, who also prefers older Muscle cars for the very same reason.

Alongside his three favorites, the New Jersey native has an abundance of additional motors to choose from for his commute to work - as you can read about here. But the cars featured in this piece already showcase his diverse interest in automobiles. From a full-throttle mid-1960s Chevy, to an all-electric peek into the future, to a sleek European sports car. His collection is an enviable one, as it features some of the rarest, and most sought after cars on the planet. Suffice to say, it will be fascinating to see what the versatile performers' next purchase will be - especially with a cool $100 million to spend.
