Sir Michael Philip Jagger aka Mick Jagger is a legendary singer, songwriter, actor, and producer. A fan favorite, Mick gained immense popularity as the lead singer of the Rolling Stones.

One of the founding members of the band, Mick, is popular for plenty of things outside the music sphere, having been embroiled in his fair share of controversies - good and bad - over the years. One of those things is his love for cars, just like his fellow band members and a few other notable musicians.

Mick has always been a car enthusiast and houses some incredible automobiles in his garage. The veteran singer is a proud owner of some stunning Merc and Rolls-Royce models. And who can forget the time when the Rolling Stones singer rammed his favorite car into a Kraft Foods truck in London?

Let's have a look at some of the cars Mick Jagger drives.

Mercedes-Benz is practically the go-to brand when it comes to luxury and comfort cars. The renowned brand is a sub-division of German company Daimler-AG.

The S550 belongs to the popular "SonderKlasse" or Special Class series of Mercedes-Benz. The Special Class is an elite division that boasts a series of full-size luxury sedans. The S550 was the 1st of the Fifth generation (W221) S-Class models released in North America and Japan. They were designed marvelously over the years and gave the buyers an array of options to choose from. The S-Class models come with several engine variants of the V6, V8, and V12. The S550 was given upgraded interiors, while the old, central-console transmission gear lever was replaced with a column-mounted shifter. Technological upgrades were imperative. Among other things, the makers installed the infrared night view assist feature and the Mercedes-Benz pre-collision system to optimize safety. The S550 was essentially created as an epitome of comfort and luxury.

The Merc S550 can ace the roads with style and maximum comfort, even at higher speeds. The S-Class model is capable of clocking up to 250 km/h at full speed. It can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds.

Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III

Next up is a Rolls Royce classic driven by Mick Jagger. The Silver Cloud III is a marvel from a bygone era: a classic example of the Rolls Royce way of building the perfect cars. Built between 1963 and 1966, the Silver Cloud-III came equipped with a best-in-class 6.2 Litre (380 cu), V8 engine. The vintage bad boy is capable of producing 220 horsepower on the go. The beauty was first unveiled to the public at the Paris Salon in the earlier part of October 1962. The car was naturally built as an upgrade to the Silver Cloud II.

The external dimensions of the predecessor were altered for the better, while the interiors got a facelift too. The Silver Cloud III was built leaner, as the car shed about 100 kg of weight. The engine received an upgrade that saw new 2-inch carburetors fitted to replace the units used by the Silver Cloud II. The newer model saw the compression ratio increase to 9:1 as an effect of the new higher-octane levels of premium fuel made available in most major markets. The option of the 8:1 was still retained for buyers from areas where higher octane fuels would not be available. Rolls Royce also claimed that the new Silver Cloud III had a 7% increased power output. The bonnet slope also saw a minor increase, while there was a 1.5-inch reduction in radiator grille height. In the year 1964, RR installed a chrome badge reading "Silver Cloud III” in italic font, on the right bottom side of the boot. This was done mostly for sample deliveries to the UK and Europe. The RR Silver Cloud III is among some of the best classic cars today. A total of only 2,044 models of this classic Rolls-Royce were ever produced.

Aston Martin DB6

The Legendary AM DB6

The year 1996: a glorious year for the music industry as well as the automobile industry. While Mick Jagger's band was winning hearts with their tunes, Aston Martin was at the top of its game as well, thanks to the launch of the DB6.

The AM DB6 is a classic in more than one way. Evidently, an upgrade to the DB4 and DB5, the new model was announced at the London Motor Show in October 1965. The AM classic was built with several notable style changes. It was built with the "Kamm" tail rear-spoiler to enhance high-speed stability in tandem with the split front and rear bumpers. It also came equipped with a re-designed oil cooler aperture in the front valance.

The DB6 boasted a higher roofline of 136 cm and a considerably longer wheelbase, compared to its predecessor. The increase of space in the rear made the DB6 a more practical family car, while also being highly fashionable. With a top speed of 148mph, this classic Aston Martin went from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 6.1 seconds.

While Jagger's Merc and RR are stunning beasts in their own right, the Aston Martin DB6 is in a league of its own. The legendary singer purchased the DB6 in the summer of 1966. The purchase garnered plenty of attention and the DB6 was dubbed as Jagger's favorite car. But fate had other ideas as the Rolling Stones legend rammed the Aston Martin beast into a truck on the streets of London.
