Founded by brothers with a passion for speed, Maserati has always been proud of its racing roots. It continues this racing heritage with the MC12 and the new MC20 supercar, which essentially represents the brand’s uncompromising performance and racing spirit. Now, Maserati is bestowing this spirit upon its powerful V8 models with the new MC Edition.

Every Maserati with the MC initials (which stands for Maserati Corse) boasts a sporty nature, as fostered on the track for competition. Thus, the MC Edition expresses such nature with captivating aesthetics, both inside and out.

The Maserati Ghibli, Levante, and Quattroporte MC Editions are available in any of the two exclusive colors: Giallo Corse and Blu Vittoria. These colors are a tribute to Maserati’s roots, as yellow and blue are the official colors of the city of Modena, Italy, the carmaker’s hometown.

For customers who wanted their V8 Maserati to don a sporty and advanced look, the brand recommends Giallo Corse — a three-layer yellow color with blue mica element. For those who wanted to give their Maseratis a deep, impactful, and contemporary appearance, they may coat their cars with the matte three-layer Blu Vittoria.

Complementing the exterior looks of the MC Editions are exquisite details in Piano Black as well as a specific badge on the rear fender and B-pillar. The Levante MC Edition rides on 22-inch wheels, while the Ghibli and Quattroporte sit on 21-inch rims. The rims boast a gloss black finish with blue brake calipers lurking behind them.

Each MC Edition features an electronic sunroof, Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system as well as Driver Assistance package. The MC Editions all have the same beating heart as their Trofeo siblings: a powerful 3.8-liter V8 Twin Turbo engine, delivering 572 hp of max output and 538 lb.-ft. of peak torque.

Maserati Corse also lives inside the MC Editions, thanks to certain interior elements. These include components in blue carbon fiber, natural Nero Pienofiore black leather, denim accents as well as yellow and blue stitching on the seats. Maserati embroidered the MC Edition logo on the headrests and placed a dedicated badge on the center console.

According to Maserati, the new MC Edition is now available in Europe, Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific and China. Since Maserati already markets Trofeo versions of the Ghibli, Levante and Quattroporte in the US, it might also sell the MC Edition in this part of the world.
