Even with the tiniest information on this piece, one sure thing is that the Fisker Ocean will be among the best and most advanced EVs in the market so far.

9 Price

The Fisker Ocean will be available in three trim levels. The Fisker Ocean Sport is the base model and will be priced at $37,499 before federal and state tax credits. The next level up is the Ocean Ultra which comes at $49,999, while the top trim, the Ocean Extreme premium edition, goes for $68,999.

The first 5,000 Ocean Extreme cars will be branded as the Ocean One, checking in at $68,999. While the Fisker Ocean is among the upcoming EV SUVs everyone is looking forward to the most, Fisker is releasing the pricey versions first, which have price tags closer to $70,000.

8 Trim Levels

As one of the most luxurious hybrids and EVs in the market, the Fisker Ocean will be offered in various trim levels. The standard Ocean Sport, the Fisker Ocean Ultra, the Fisker Ocean Extreme, and the Fisker Ocean One. The Fisker Ocean Sport will come equipped with Earth and Fun drive modes, while the Fisker Ocean Ultra and Fisker Ocean Extreme will add Hyper mode.

The Fisker Ocean Extreme and Fisker Ocean One will come with an Off-road mode. All trims except the base model will come equipped with a Smart Traction torque-vectoring system to enhance performance and safety.

All batteries are supplied by CATL, along with the different technologies to keep the base model price as low as possible and give the Ultra and Extreme cars a segment-leading performance. Additionally, both options will use silicon-carbide inverters, making this advanced technology standard on all trim levels. This will give the Ocean EV increased power output and extended driving range.

5 Driving Range

Fisker estimates that the EPA range of the front-wheel-drive, single-motor Fisker Ocean Sport will be 250 miles on a single charge. The middle model, the Fisker Ocean Ultra, will be all-wheel-drive and get 340 miles per charge. The difference in range between the two trim levels lies in their batteries.

While the Fisker Ocean Sport utilizes the lithium-ion phosphate battery, the Fisker Ocean Ultra comes with a Nickel Manganese Cobalt. The latter battery is still used in the Fisker Ocean Extreme and the Fisker Ocean One, which gets a potential range of 350 miles per charge.

A Fisker SolarSky roof comes standard on the Fisker Ocean Extreme and the Fisker Ocean One trims and can supply an additional 2,000 miles of range over the course of the year. Under typical sunny skies such as California, the solar panel drip-feeds the SUV's battery pack with about 1,500 miles of range per year.

Furthermore, the automaker says that it will utilize the discarded rubber waste from tire production for several components, preventing offcuts from going to landfills and ultimately lowering the SUV's carbon footprint.

2 Dimensions

Entry-level cars will come with 20-inch wheels, while upper trim models will feature 22-inch wheels. The Ocean comes with a retractable rear screen, which allows oversized items to be carried in the trunk without the need to leave the tailgate open.

At the push of a button, the Fisker Ocean can lower all its windows and pull back its sliding roof to create a convertible-like experience while maintaining the reassurance of an SUV platform. The setting, California Mode, will be available on all the trim models, except the base model.

1 It Was Designed By Two Women

The Fisker Ocean is designed to be a proper SUV rather than another aerodynamic all-electric hatchback. Fisker designed the look of the Ocean, while the interior and exterior designs were worked on by two female lead designers. Together with the sleek and stylish exterior, the pumped-up wheels came from the idea of a combined sports car with that of an SUV.

The Fisker Ocean has a fully vegan interior — recycled materials, including old t-shirts, reclaimed fishing nets, and renewed rubber. The seats are a unique Fisker design, and Limo Mode allows rear-seat passengers to control audio systems and adjust heating and air conditioning. In all, the Fisker Ocean design looks luxurious and super modern.
