The new Silverado is as versatile as ever and comes with seven wholesome trims excluding the new pumped-up ZR2 off-road model. The trim levels range from the "bring it on!" Work truck to the "Damn that's luxurious" High Country Even more impressive are the engine options on offer. This Chevy has more engines than most car trims out there! The 301 HP base 2.7-liter turbo inline-4 scores big on torque with 420 lb-ft which helps a lot in towing.
Then there is the duo of V8s - a 5.3-liter with 355 HP and 383 lb-ft of torque, and the meatier 6.2-liter with 420 HP and 460 lb-ft of torque. Both these engines make the 2022 Silverado 1500 very quick at it takes just about 6 seconds to reach 60 MPH.
