Bentley claims that the car is intended to honor the exploration lovers. Its magnificent design integrates advanced technologies, owing to which the vehicle can outshine other SUVs in terms of performance in difficult terrains. What sets the Bentayga S apart from its predecessors and its rivals is the new Bentley Dynamic Ride system. It is an active 48-volt anti-roll technology that Bentley claims is the first of its kind in the industry. Within 0.3 seconds, the system reacts with a peak dynamometer of 959 lb-ft torque to counteract side rolling forces. The automaker made this system standard in the Bentayga S to provide ideal cabin stability and maximum handling.
The Dynamically Improved Exterior
The Bentayga S sports a much more appealing exterior as compared to its previous generations, and with its enhanced characteristics, the Bentley Bentayga S has a more innovative design. All the external chrome in earlier models is replaced with a black finish, duplicated on side sills and side mirrors. The LED headlights and taillights are coated with a dark tint, while a gloss black treatment is performed on the front air dam. Huge 22-inch pottery polished wheels and model-specific badging all laden in black give the car its bold look.
At the front, Bentley has made the car more aggressive with its iconic dual round' crystal cut' headlamps with a widened matrix grille. However, in no way does it appear to be bulging out thanks to the trimmed hood. The front bumper has a more chiseled profile with a black-tinted air dam and fog lights at the sides fitted on black background. Some other modifications are added in the lower body panels and a larger rear spoiler, and black oval dual exhausts.
The Sports-Car-Like Interior
The sporty look on the outside is traced on the inside as well. The vehicle's interior is black and red, with Alcantara pigmentation extensively used on the steering, seats, gear shifter, roof lining, and other trims. The car ships in three seating configurations - four, five, and seven. Moreover, the upholstered leather seats are all adorned with an 'S' badging.
The driver's information panel and infotainment system are equipped with LCD screens. A 10.9-inch screen at the center serves as the infotainment system. Bentley assures that the Bentayga S can go on for up to 406 miles with a full tank if driven at standard speed.
An 8-speed automatic transmission controls the engine power. To enhance the experience of its sporty nature, the Bentayga's drive control system has a 'Sport Drive' mode. This elevates the air suspension by 15%, together with finely-tuned ESC and steering that offers unmatched control and balance. The vehicle's power is assisted with a brake-based torque vectoring system that significantly improves the front axle response.
The Bentley Bentayga is already an established SUV lineup of the company, and the newly inducted Bentayga S shall only strengthen Bentley's position in the industry.
